Wow, wow, wow! So amazing. What a treausure in this neighborhood. Everything was perfect. You cannot make a bad choice. Julie our waitress was fantastic. We will be back. The Chicken Piccata was the best I ever had! Show stoppingly good. Live jazz was an added bonus on this particular evening. I repeat.. we will be back.

For some unknown reason, we had yet to dine at Del Rio, despite living in the area for decades. That will now change after recently celebrating a quiet birthday dinner here. Wonderful food; Rick, our waiter, was responsive and very personable; the atmosphere is the very essence of a friendly family-owned Italian restaurant. We enjoyed the live music provided by Dave(?), who reminded me musically of the great Bobby Short. A little pricey, but well worth the expense
Probably should call ahead for a reservation, though we were lucky on a Tuesday night to just walk in and get immediate seating.
This is a wonderful place to take friends and/or family for a relaxed and intimate meal that fulfills all the senses.

Wow!! Service, Food and Atmosphere trifecta. Everything we tried…Duck Lasagna, Halibut, Shrimp Scampi, Veal and Tiramisu… were perfectly cooked. The sauces carried complimentary flavor. Owners on site watching over the details. Everyone connected to make it an exceptional visit.

Amazing experience, warm welcoming and friendly service. The small plates are perfect for the single dinner or table that want to sample a bit of everything and are a really great bang for the buck. The wine and alcohol list is impressive and expansive, covering pretty much anything ever bottled! I really enjoyed my shrimp scampi over house made pasta and char grill sausage and marinaded peppers. Even the warm loafs of fresh baked bread they brought out were delicious.

Del Rio is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants on the North Shore. The atmosphere and the staff is welcoming and warm. We always get the same exact food! Shrimp Scampi and Veal Parmesan. It’s a great place that you’ll feel like family when you get there!

Del Rio accommodated our party of ten effortlessly. The free valet parking was polite and prompt. Quickly seated with water, bread and butter, served up and our drinks in hand within minutes. Our crisp salad had homemade sweet vinaigrette dressing and the eggplant parm with meat sauce continues to be the best version of this dish in town.

This place was fantastic from the moment we walked in. The valet staff were friendly and opened the doors for us. We we’re then greeted by the owner who also was friendly. We had a little bit of a wait, but not bad for a Friday evening. Once seated, our waitress was attentive and helpful. All of the food was fantastic. I do agree with one other reviewer that the Evvivo was a little dry, but I didn’t find it uneatable. I can’t wait to burn off all the calories aso we can go back!!

Del Rio is an amazing Italian restaurant which is warm, cozy, and homie. When my friend and I walked in, the owner Bill greeted us at the door. He was so kind and friendly. Throughout our dining experience Bill would come around and chat with us, and to be honest I loved it. He made us you feel right at home. Let’s talk food we both ordered the Cioppino filled with scallops, mussels, shrimp and the fish of the day. It was very tasty. One of the popular dishes on the menu. Not too salty and perfect in taste. Also ordered a side bolognese angel hair pasta that was really good as well. We also ordered a dirty martini which was mediocre. The Manhattens rye was ok as well, would have definitely preferred the black cherries vs the red. The canolli was also very good. We will def be back for the atmosphere and food.
