Walking into this place reminds me a little of a restaurant my mom used to go to in Progresso Mexico.
They have a nice section of did that is reasonably priced. They have lunch specials also and they don’t skimp on food. I ordered the Del Rio special with Shrimp and chicken over rice. There was more then I could eat so I took half gone for another meal… All for around $10!
And their margaritas are reasonably priced and tasty. If you’re in Independence and looking for a bite… Or if you’re looking for a little drive for some good food, add this place to your list.

No frills, we had beef tacos, loved the ground beef, and Tacos Del Rio carnitas, the food was quick and excellent, the chips and salsa were thin and crisp – excellent tomotilio salsa – spicy!
