This was the first time I visited this bakery and I loved it. I ordered a birthday cake for my hubby and they did not disappoint. While waiting for the cake, I could not help but also buy some of their cookies and a mini cannoli that were being displayed in their pastry display cases. The cookies brought me back to a time when I was little and growing up in Brooklyn. The service was wonderful and the owners welcoming. My family will be buying their cakes and pastries from there from now on.

Its like 45 min away from us but is very worth it. The lobster tails my favorite!!! Always a hit and i will get them for any celebration even for my work and everyone that tried them they love them. My bf found this place looking for a canoli cake that i always request for my birthday (the bakery we used to get them from changed owners and it wasn’t the same) but i wished we knew about this bakery long time ago. Its so good and just how i like it. The employees are soo nice too. Highly recommend!!!

So I always walk by this place, usually while working out so I never have funds on me, but this time i was just commuting on foot sho decided to stop in to see if they had black and white cookies. They did! Yay..
So got one of those. And a small box of assorted cookies (shortbread, fig, chocolate dipped fingerlings things, jelly sandwich) then helped myself to a large cannoli, 2 creme puffs, and a rum dipped pastry I can’t remember the name. Yes i tasted them all, tees they were all delish. My fave outside the b&w cookie, was the jelly ones. Soooo good with a nice amount of sweetness. The cannoli was fresh and creamy. I was glad to stop in.

Cherry, Napoleon, Rum cake, eclairs, everything we have tried is delicious NOT recommended for Holidays They are just unprepared for holidays service. Fresh, pastry crunchy and soft the balance in the sweet just perfect. Bad service rude by phone and in person. But delicious pastry.

THE BEST CANNOLI CAKE EVER! No joke! Lil bit of hidden flaky shell crunch inside and light sweet filling. So delicious! My well rounded/routed italian brother-in-law had for the first time in his 40yrs and it blew his tastebuds away. Never again will he settle for any other CANNOLI cake.

I picked up my nieces first holy communion cake from Del Prete Italian Pastry today. It was a cannoli cake and it looked absolutely beautiful and looked delicious. To no surprise it was so good when. It was cake time. I also had to pick pastries and those were delicious too. I would recommend Del Prete Italian Pastry to anyone and giving it five out five stars.

Good food, but terrible customer service — especially when you’re ordering from out of state for something important.
I placed an order last week for a birthday cake from Del Prete Italian Pastry. I called from out of state to make sure everything was in place for my mom’s special day. Unfortunately, Michelle, who took the order over the phone, was incredibly rude — dismissive and lacking any basic customer service skills. I let it slide, hoping the in-person experience would be better.
It wasn’t. When we arrived to pick up the cake, Michelle was the one working. She questioned whether we were even at the right location, and when I mentioned I had spoken to someone named Michelle, she repeated her name back at me with attitude and brushed it off, saying, “Well, it doesn’t matter, we have extras,” before finally getting the order started — which we expected to already be completed.
The cake itself was good, but the attitude and service we received left a bitter taste. If you care about how you’re treated — especially during a meaningful moment like a birthday — I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

It’s pretty run down and my tiny shortbread cookies were $2 each and definitely not fresh. If you’re looking for service or atmosphere I’d skip this place. The woman at the front seemed annoyed that a customer was in there. There’s no selection in pastry’s so it’s basically just cookies and sub par at best.
