I’ve been eating here for 20 years. I love this place. Drinks are great, service is awesome, prices are reasonable…owners are great (let me add). Oh, the food! You’re not gonna find any better. Not unless you’re at a 3 star Michelin place in New York. Even then it would be close.

Yikes. Not going to impress you for an over 100$ lunch.
Special appetizer of fried veggies and shrimp really good. Mayonnaissey (Is this a word?)sauce in the bottom not so much. They made us some killer little marinara sauce this was the highlight of the lunch.
Husbands meatball Panini ok. Came with a small Ceasar type side? No croutons and unimpressed.
Then the pastas. First a pasta that allegedly came with “Italian Sausage” that turned out to be sort of like Pepperoni and Potatoes. Just yuck and the actual pasta was chewy and rubbery.
Asked for the Tagliatelle and somehow was thinking of Pappardelle. Turned out incidental since there was the thinnest, stringy pasta with lackluster Bolognaise on it.
Covington struggles with good restaurants. This was an expensive, celebratory luncheon that was hugely disappointing .
Spoke with the very polite manager who had great explanations but no real accommodation. This is our second and last C- trip to this place. I so wanted to like this because it is a very nice dining room and traditional in appearance.

Wow, what an amazing dining experience! This restaurant is worthy of a detour. Every dish was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Excellent service. Good wine list. We would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Mid grade food, terrible steaks, okay with fish. most items are disappointing, a few items actually tasty but a bite or two of that with standard profit maximizing fillers, super noisy to the point you cant hear people at your table. Priced like a 5 star with barely 3 star menu. Tried it three times as people kept raving. They must be impressed with fruit in a martini for $25.00.

My wife and I have been going here for our anniversary for the last 10 years, and multiple times in between, EVERY SINGLE TIME the food is excellent, the service is perfect, and the atmosphere is one that can’t be beat on the Northshore. In over 30-40 dining experiences now, we literally do not have a single complaint, it is fine dining restaurant perfection as far as we are concerned. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Went in for our friends birthday with a group of 7. Hollis took the best care of us! She was absolutely on top of all of our needs as well as very informed on the menu items we had questions about. For those of us who like mocktails they had some wonderful options and her recommendations-fruit punch was in the name- delicious. Her service was absolutely divine as was the food. We had so much fun and she took a photo of the group for us as well as sent out a dessert with a candle. Lovely food and atmosphere. Love Del Porto and cant wait to go back.

Came into town for a job test drive, and I researched this gem in advance. Had dinner at another restaurant that closed earlier on my first night and stopped by for wine and dessert, which were perfect. The next day, I went back for lunch and had the Yard Egg salad and mushroom marsala soup, both of which were quite nice. Tyler will take care of you at the bar! A must visit!
