A delicious mexican spot with great chips, excellent carne asadas; from tacos to enchiladas, everything is on point!
Our server Rodrigo made great recommendations and was very polite and attentive. The kitchen crew was fast and flawless.
Nachos were fresh and salsa was tasty.
I had the enchiladas divorciadas and all three sauces were great. The sides of beans and rice was very flavorful, a bit on the salty side.
A final note on the service, usually an understaffed location on a slow night does not necessarily perform their best but tonight’s service was great and expo times were very quick!

We come to steamboat every year and have seen this place change owners many times. First it was a pub, then bbq, and now Mexican. It has gone downhill every year since it went to Mexican food. A few years ago they had a buffet for Super Bowl and there was very little food, most stations were empty. Today we order tacos and enchiladas. They didn’t bring the side that goes with the tacos, didn’t put the sauce on the enchiladas, and it took almost 20 minutes to get chips and salsa. Drink service was fairly quick I’ll give them that. It’s Super Bowl Sunday and every place we went to was packed with no seating. We come here and it’s completely dead. I can see why. It was a good run but we’re out. Oh, and a 32 oz margarita was $40. Yeah, I’m serious, it was $40. Unbelievable. Receipt attached; laughable for this food.

I’ve always been a fan of this space, especially its unique entrance from Lincoln to the basement. The decor is designed to attract customers, and the staff is incredibly friendly once you step inside. We arrived just as they opened after a long walk, and we couldn’t resist the temptation of a cold beer. As it was vacation, we decided to indulge in some chips and an appetizer as well. The food was absolutely delicious, and I must say, they have the best homemade chips I’ve ever tasted!

We came in as a large group and initially we had great service. They made room for us, service was prompt, and the food was good (albeit overpriced). It wasn’t until we went to pay and noticed a large “adjustment” to the bill after I paid. It was a 3% credit card service fee that was not disclosed at all prior to paying. And then I checked my bank account today and they added in an additional $17, but luckily I have a picture of the receipt and reported it to my bank. Sketchy business practices and overpriced food made this a 2 star experience.

This place deserves 5 stars. Literally best happy hour in town. Always fast and service is super. Please go check it out. Salsa de champinones sounds weird but insanely good. Happy hour tacos are 8 for $20. Cheapest in town!

The only good thing that could be mentioned about this place is that the servers and host were nice (although forgetful). The location is in a basement and very stuffy, when we arrived there was the strongest mop/colorex smell too. The food was horrible, guacamole was smelly, watery and brown color. Everything we tried (steak quesadilla, shrimp, fajita, even the tortilla chips and the beans were inedible). Messy bathrooms and no toilet paper . No wonder the place was empty during lunch time, save your money and skip this place.

These are some of the nicest, hardest working people in the city serving authentic Mexican. DEL mezcal was easy to get a reservation, quick to receive basics like water and then chips and salsa. Our waitress was honest and knowledgeable, service was prompt and food was good prices are moderate and menu offering is wide, you won’t be disappointed.
This is definitely an underrated steamboat gem

Great original margaritas, homemade (freshly fried) chips and salsa. We also had the Salsa de Champinon – it was awesome! We each had a taco – both phenomenal! My husband ordered a bowl of Pozole, and I got the Green Chile soup. I don’t know if it was bad day in the kitchen, or nobody had made the Green Chile yet, but it was horrible. No real flavor except flour, and 2 little cubes of pork. For $16, I said NO, and sent it back. They were super nice about it, and replaced it with my own bowl of Pozole. Which is rich, flavorful and so filling. I do recommend this cute little downstairs place for excellent food and margaritas!
