After a disappointing experience at the Haddon Heights location on New Years Day, I had a chance at hoagie redemption because I really wanted my buffalo chicken hoagie. When I tell you that they went above & beyond for me, my order was very specific & they executed it perfectly. I was sad that I had to ride from Haddon Heights to Stratford to get it, but I’d definitely order from them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Over the years this Del Buono’s
Location has expanded to include Carmen’s Deli which in addition to deli meats and sandwiches, also sells event Hoagie trays. The bakery section not only carries a wide variety of bread roll types but also a great array of cookies and pastries. We stopped in for bread rolls and $65 later came away with a whole lot more. Pics attached.

I order every weekend from this place. I don’t know what changed? I got a large hot roast beef with provolone cheese$16 sandwich. Normally never have to check, but what I got was an embarrassment they could a bunch of dry roast beef no gravy dry as hell and some barely melted American cheese not provolone nastiest sandwich I’ve had ever I can’t believe that they would even hand me this! Looks like they didn’t have enough product so they didn’t care and just sold me what they had knowing I was going to be halfway down the road before I knew I got screwed. I tried to call back no answer this was also during the eagles game so I guess they didn’t care. Horrible food horrible service! This place used to be a staple!

I had more bread than anything… This location seems to really, really cut back on the meats. In addition there was a missed side dish. I’d have to second the stingy comment. Such a shame I grew up with Carmen’s and their hoagie’s were famous.
Edit: The middle and right picture are from our visit today. We were in contact with Jane and she was very adamant that last time was far from the experience they aim for. She offered to have our next meal on them and it would get corrected. Needless the say this is what I expect from Carmen’s and I hope the picture to the left never happens again.

The girl at the counter on labor day was so friendly and helpful. Her attitude was so positive! She should be valued.. the rolls were good too but I would certainly be back due to her customer service and positive attitude.

Cupcakes tasted super old. Good size but terrible old and odd taste.
Same with chocolate roll.
Their Cheesecake was something I’ve never seen before. Literally just yellow cake with some cream cheese frosting in the middle.
Will never purchase desserts here again.

Love this deli I just found out about. Food is delicious. Prices are great. They have all sorts of variety items besides their lunch meat and sandwiches. Rolls are fantastic This is my new found place to go a couple times a week. Yay!!

So much to love about Del Buono’s!! Their rolls are delicious, the lunchmeats and sides, (desserts included) are also always fresh and delish. And the staff is great, always helpful and courteous, it is definitely worth the effort to manage Rt. 30 to stop in here!

1st time trying Carmen’s at this location.. the guy taking the order gave an attitude the whole time as my fiance tried to tell him I only want this on it.. apparently you have to go through the list 3 times and the attitude got worse each time.. then we get home and what do you know..everything she asked to NOT be on it was.. thanks for a waste of 15 bucks (not tomato, no oil, no oregeno)
