Just moved back to Philly after living in North Texas for over 20 years. I’ve eaten my share of BBQ. I always get the ribs when a place has them on the menu. I ordered ribs on Valentine’s Day and they were great! Definitely not the ribs that I got the last time I came in. These were tender and flavorful and I always ask for the sauce on the side. Perfection today! We also had the Sloppy Doc Loaded Wedges. Super tasty. It could be an entree or shared between 2-3 people. The music was a little loud for conversation at our table but a minor inconvenience. We didn’t even ask for it to be turned down. I will definitely be back for more good eats.

I Didn’t Choose To Come Here, I Was Treated. After Trying Some Of The Items On The Menu I Know I Will Not Be Returning. The Baby Back Ribs Were Tender, But They Weren’t Seasoned. During my visit to Philly my friend said she wanted to prove to me that Philly had a spot with good Barbecue. She ordered the shareable platter that had several items … brisket, ribs, chicken and we selected potato salad, beans and white coleslaw. We weren’t asked if we wanted barbecue sauce on the side or on the meat. Well the meats arrived drenched in barbecue sauce … a no for me. A for sure tale tell sign the meat isn’t seasoned. You can’t get the true taste of meat like that. I asked them to take the ribs back and to bring some without sauce. Sure enough, the meat was bland and tasteless. The sides well let’s just say … a no for me! I couldn’t figure out what the heck they did with the potato salad but it is horrible! The coleslaw and beans, not good either. This was an expensive epic fail … I was not impressed the food was not good at all and showed me nothing. They have to come much better than this to prove they have good barbecue. The waiter was pleasant and service good, that’s it! Fail on the food! $81 wasted!!!! ♀️ I “do not” recommend.

Just read the response to my review. Reviews are written so people have a true unbiased view of the food and service-of a restaurant to make decisions about dining and to help the restaurant make improvements. If you expect all reviews to be favorable you are mistaken. I call it like I see it. The food wasn’t good and a waste of money.

I thought the food was going to be good because it was a lot of people there. The food was bland and flavorless. They need to change their recipes. They have a lot of potentially great things on their menu but switch it up a bit. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was great too

We got takeout to eat in the neighboring brewery. They offer easy ordering via two kiosks. The brisket sandwich was excellent; tender & the sauce wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. I gave the fried mac & cheese balls a chance – they were ok, slightly gimmicky. In the future, my preference would just be normal mac & cheese.

The food was incredible and a great deal! You get so much bang for your buck! The outdoor space is super cool and there are plenty of activities to do. You don’t wait long for food, which is a huge plus. We briefly met one of the owners and she was super nice. Great customer service! (Pic of the famous brisket cheesesteak)

The food was good! I had the wings. You could tell they were smoked, the skin had a nice snap to them. Also had the texas mud loaded wedges with brisket. It was great. They didn’t have any ribs. Place had a nice atmosphere. Will be back. Hopefully they’ll have ribs!

Came here on a Monday afternoon, ordered a full slab of ribs & the loaded wedges with pulled pork, Cole slaw & pickles on it. The ribs were out of this world!! Fall of the bone meat, great bbq sauce, and a huge portion. The wedges were really good too.
