Visiting Degchi was a lot of fun. We tried their boneless chicken biryani, which was delicious and full of flavor. I especially loved their Apollo fish, a tasty fried fish dish. My husband really enjoyed the Chicken 65, which was spicy and flavorful.
The restaurant in Desi Galaxy has nice atmosphere, making it a great place for a family meal. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Desi Galaxy Express 2 is our go-to place for lunch or dinner when we do not feel like cooking. The Place “Degchi” has some new food menu items, from which we tried the goat sukha with romali roti, which was delicious and reasonably priced. We also tried the black pepper shrimp from “Fat Panda”, which was good too. We were suggested to try the ghee roast chicken, which we will be trying next time.

I recently ordered the Hyderabad chicken biryani from your restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, the taste was quite disappointing. I had expected authentic flavors and quality, but it fell short in every way. Given the reputation, this experience was underwhelming and I don’t plan to reorder. I hope you take feedback seriously and work on improving the taste and overall quality.

The biryani was rich flavored, with perfectly cooked rice infused with aromatic spices. The blend of spices was spot-on with perfect balance of masala’s. While the flavor was there, the meat was a bit on the tough side, making it difficult to chew and enjoy fully. If Degchi can fix this , this is the best biryani out there on oak tree road, Edison.

I ordered a small tray of Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, and I must say it is among the finest biryanis I have ever had the pleasure of tasting in the United States. I felt compelled to call and express my gratitude personally. Initially, I had some difficulty locating this restaurant as it is inside Desi Galaxy restaurant or plaza. I talked to Nitin who I think is the owner, and they threw in some extra biryani. That was really cool of them. The biryani was ready like, half an hour after we ordered it. Thank you so much!

This is located in Desi Galaxy Express, which is near the Apna Bazaar on Oak Tree Road. I stopped by there on a Saturday evening and ordered a Hyderabadi chicken biriyani to go. The people looked very friendly. The biriyani was plentiful and very tasty. There were plenty of chicken as well. We would happily get food from there again.
