Went today to finally try out the new location it’s been over a month now since they have been open so figure would be a good time to try it out.
Went in at 5:10pm ordered a small pepperoni pie the service was quick to approach myself to take my order said it would be about 40 minutes.
No problem I wasn’t in a hurry about 25/30 minutes of waiting was asked what I ordered again no big deal just thought it was odd.
About another 20 minutes received my pie.
The building itself is small inside the restroom needs to be cleaned more often was gross.
The workers need to be more professional when a customer is inside the building but regardless should act more professional not singing and dancing and yelling about how much they have worked.
Overall the pie that’s what we are really here to review the pepperoni pie was a thick crust reminds you of a 90s pan style pie from Pizza Hut the sauce itself is sweet and sits heavy on the stomach.
If you order a small be aware the crust is very thick and will fill you up.
Overall the pizza itself was decent would give a 5.6 overall.
Would try something else another time if I returned to try this location again.
Being told that Follansbee location is very good I have hopes this one turns out to be great as well.
Was my first time trying out the Defelice style pizza would try again.

Only thing good for this location is delivery. Missing toppings (tomato and onion) on Mediterranean and cut haphazardly. Not to mention they used black olives instead of Greek olives.
The antipasto had peppers so burnt they tasted like charcoal. This location is not doing its part on quality. I don’t mind waiting an hour for delivery but at least have some pride in quality. $40 down the drain.
I love defelice pizza but I’m gonna have to go to a different location. This one just doesn’t have the quality there.
A coupon for the two specialty pizza’s would suffice as for making it right.
Edited to mention, 3 weeks later, I never got that coupon amd nothing was made right.
Another edit…. they said they would correct it….they even left a review saying so (see below) but 5 months later, nothing.

We decided to order dinner using the online option @4:18pm, upon completion it said order would be ready in 30 mins. Pulled to drive thru pickup 30 mins later. The girl working the window/ front counter area was very nice and informed me my food would be ready in afew mins. 15 mins later , she says same thing. I watched 3 deliveries go out and the driver come back. After waiting I Decided to go in. They apologized for the delay and blamed the delay on me using the online order option ( is online ordering a new thing, lol) Saying it doesn’t always notify them immediately of an order. The staff offered me cookies , etc. Then supposedly left a note with my information in computer for me to receive 50% off my next order. 1 hour and few mins later I did get my order. 1- Italian sub, 1- speciality pizza. The sub I threw in the trash, after trying it. Bread was very hard, meat was burned on all edges and just not good quality, the toppings were missing for most part and the mayo I paid .50cents extra for was not on my sandwich. The sandwich was tiny also overall. I’ve had the same sandwich from follansbee location and it was not like this. I feel my sandwich was a result of the order being hurried and the store being understaffed and ill equipped to handle online orders. I’ve seen these issues in other reviews from months ago, it’s a shame that they haven’t been corrected. The pizza we ordered is very good! The 9$ sub was terrible. The staff was very friendly just not efficient or set up for success at there job. I hope you get better so you can continue to stay open.

There was a mistake for my order and instead of them being rude towards me; they apologized for the mistake, remade my pizza; and proceeds to give me both pizzas(correct and wrong) and a pizza cutter.

We called in an order for delivery. After quoted a time and a card payment, we were called 5 minutes before close to be informed they did not deliver to our address we stated before placing our order. By the time the last call was ordered, most other places were closed and had been over 40 minutes from when we placed our original order.

Don’t trust the pickup time listed on the website. It said 30 minutes. I’m currently sitting at their drive through waiting for the pizza I ordered 50 minutes ago. There are no other customers here and this is not the first time this has happened.

I have to admit, most pizza places in Weirton kinda suck, so when my wife suggested to try this, I was not really feeling it at first. Let me tell you how wrong I was…. lol.
We ordered 3 pies (2 Chicago style) and one small everything, along with a taco salad and an order of wings.
Hands down this was the best pizza I’ve had in the valley to date and I’ve been here 20+ years. Guys…. I’m picky when it comes to my food, and that crust… was perfection. The cheese and toppings were toasted, not burned, and that everything pizza was killer! They had the perfect amount of GOOD sauce on it.
The only 2 suggestions I have are one for Defelice – If you can make a deep dish chicago style with the everything toppings… I’ll gain 20 more pounds… lol (Yeah it was that good)
The second is to anyone reading these reviews. Forget national chains, forget Dicarlos, forget Fox’s. Go here, order the hot honey pizza, and enjoy.
Oh and not to disparage the wings or the salad…. our teenagers (whom they were for) gobbled them up before I had my first slice down. One said the wings were some of the best she’s had, and when I asked my other daughter about her salad, she gave out a mighty burp…. (a compliment to Defelice)
