We have gave been looking for a New York style pizzeria for a while in the TN area. We ordered an 18” cheese pizza, 30 wings with Garlic Parmesan/Kickin Bourbon and Spicy Honey flavors, and the garlic knots. First, the pizza was not advertised as NY style but it was so close they might as well say that. Great herb topping on the cheese pizza, perfect thickness and crisp to the crust, and just the right amount of “flop” to the triangle end you would swear that it came from Manhattan. The wings were a good size (not the sickly looking Wingstop size) and the flavors were all very good. The Garlic Knots….let me say….if you never try these you are truly depriving yourself of some of life’s best experiences. Absolutely flavorful and just the right amount of kick. The only downside that I can see right now is the 18” topping pizza is a little pricey at the current price but we will have to try them to see if it is worth ordering other than cheese. We had pizza night with the neighbors. We had pizza bros which we love and this place, which is new. I called in and told them. We had the same pizza from both. The overall consensus was that this pizza is as good or better than pizza bros. Dough had tons of flavor and soft but with a crisp. Slightly Thicker than pizza bros but still very good. The wings are definitely better here we got mild from both. The checkered paper and the lighter wings is Defazios, the others are pizza bros. Both great but Defazios wins. Bravo!!!

10/10, no notes. The BEST garlic knots and meatball sub I have ever had. This not your average pizza joint.
Fantastic service. Sweet little seating area. (4x 4-tops) I wish I had taken pictures, but with every item they brought out, I forgot until everything was gone. (That’s how you know it was good.) We are from Ohio and had no idea they had just opened. You would’ve never known. Food came out fast and fresh, and they know what’s up.
Buckle up for this one:
Up first – the garlic knots. Whatever seasoning/oil they brush them in is so flavorful, and they smother them in it. The knots themselves are fresh baked (we watched them being made) and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. We were already sold.
Second up- the meatball sub. This was a recommendation of the wonderful woman who took our order. She said “I get it with two cheeses, and garlic butter on the bun.” And that’s exactly what we did. Absolutely perfect. Lots of flavor, the two cheeses made it unique, and the meatballs were so tender. It didn’t sit super heavy either. I’m a big meatball sub fan and wow, best one any of us have had. Before we left I asked the owner if he had a picture of the sub we had quickly devoured before being able to take a picture, and he kindly obliged, so that’s what you see here. Don’t forget to ask for both cheeses and the garlic butter on the bun.
Third up- Pizza, calzone, and chicken tenders. All were devoured by our group almost instantly. The parm garlic sauce was great for dipping. I didn’t have a piece of pizza but the rest in our group gave it a big thumbs up.
Fourth up – lemon crème cake and cannoli. Again, 10/10. The cream in the cannoli was perfect.
Overall, this was a review-worthy experience. Not something I throw around lightly. Thank you guys for helping us start our vacation off right!

We traveled pretty far to try this pizza (about an hour) and it did not disappoint. We had pepperoni. I could taste a guy or oregano in sauce that I really appreciated. The crust was fantastic! I also tried a small Greek salad. It was good, minor recommendion would be a little less on the onions and too add some lettuce. Please open another location closer to Red Bank area

The crust was firm, crispy, had a nice little crunch but there seemed to be an excess amount of flour on the bottom that wasn’t pleasant. The cheese has good flavor. The sauce was alright, it needed something. The pepperonis flavor was more on the mild side but still good. We ordered a cheese pizza with oregano and a pepperoni pizza. We also ordered garlic knots that were amazing. They had a red pepper flake kick to them but not in an overwhelming way. If you are looking for a more authentic New York style pizza in the ooltewah/collegdale area this is it.

We have lived in Collegedale for two years and for two years have complained about the lack of good wings in the area. What a relief that DeFazio’s has changed that!! We did their 13inch cheese pizza and 20 wing deal for $31–a great value for the quality of food. It was ready quickly, easy to pick up, and delicious. The wings were saucy and crispy. Our ONLY wish is that we had homemade dressings to dip the near-perfect wings in, but all in all, this spot is an awesome addition to Collegedale. We’re excited to try more!!

I’m not sure where to start! We stopped by for the first time after baseball tonight. The service was immediately wonderful, the moment we walked in we realized this was a family establishment and they welcomed you in immediately. This husband and wife with their dough slinging team are fantastic!
We ordered: The OG Cheese, The blazing bird, a veggie supreme, and they made us a chicken bbq at my son’s request, we also ordered garlic knots and lemon pepper wings.
We had the knots first and then the wings. Both of them were OUTSTANDING! I am a foodie and these HIT the spot immediately! Then the pizza came out and when I say, this pizza outdoes the area in pizza, I’m not kidding. I have a few favorite pizza places and this very rapidly made its way to the top. I ate so fast I completely forgot to take food pictures! I will next time

We will definitely be back. It reminded us of one of our favorite places several states away so we were very pleased. Glad they had a couple of tables so we could eat it right out of the oven. I hope they get fountain drinks but the food is awesome and they are nice.
