The BBQ here was pretty good. I had the 3 meat plate and I tried the brisket, ribs and regular sausage. The brisket and ribs were tender but lacked flavor. The sausages were NASTY! The sausage did not taste like pork, it tasted burned and flavorless. I ordered 2 sides: potato salad and green beans. The potato salad was really good and the green beans were good but, not the best I’ve tasted! I also had Banana Pudding for dessert. It was not good at all. The pudding was too mushy and all I could taste was bananas. The waiters were attentive. I asked for a refill on my Sprite soda and it tasted like weakened down Sierra Mist so, I changed my drink to Sweet Tea and that tasted better. The food could have been better, certainly not the best BBQ I’ve ever had but some of it tasted pretty good.

The consensus was that the beef rib was better than the brisket – but they don’t always have the beef rib – both were very tender and juicy. I really liked the baked potato salad, the creamed corn sides, and the banana pudding.

The food here will put you in a food coma. Absolutely one of the best BBQ places in SA. In house made smoked sausage is so good. The brisket is perfectly smoked and tender with an excellent bark. The sides aren’t bad either. If you want top notch BBQ you have to try this place.

As i resident of San Antonio I must say the BBQ scene is lacking here. I usually have to make the journey for the good stuff when i want BBQ. However this place was a super good surprise! The food is delicious and plentiful. While the service is a bit lacking the BBQ makes up for it. In my opinion its one of the best places in San Antonio to get BBQ. Definitely worth the try.

Was craving BBQ and made a u-turn when I saw the sign… and sure glad I did!! ordered the Loaded Baked Potato and it Did Not disappoint!! Also ordered some brisket on the side thinking there wouldn’t be enough on my potato… boy was I wrong!! (No pics of the brisket because i torn into it before i took pics ♀️) will DEF be returning!!

I’m not usually on this side of town, but our friend was in the mood for barbecue and I’m so glad I was in the area! The aroma from the outside told us we were in the right spot. I got the one meat plate with ribs and OH MY GOSH this may be my favorite barbecue in San Antonio! The crust on the ribs was so full of flavor and the baby back ribs were falling off the bone into my hands, literally melting in my mouth. We had 3 sauces to choose from on our table: regular, spicy & a honey mustard like sauce that was my absolute favorite. Our waitress was lovely and took great care of us too, we will be back with more friends and family!
