Fantastic all around. Great sandwich options for lunch and incredible scratch pasta options for dinner. Ate here at least once a week 20 years ago and recently returned to the area to find that it is my one of my two favorite that remaining in business. It as good as I remember, maybe even a little better.

My wife and I went here for her birthday and enjoyed everything about this place. The drinks were made very good, the food was fresh, and tasted homemade, and the service was wonderful. We had the grilled octopus, fried calamari, oso buko ravioli, and oyster and clams linguine. Our server, Anitza, was such a delight. Even on beautiful Friday night, when the place was packed, Anitza didn’t rush us. She was attentive to our wants and needs and made some great recommendations. She made the whole experience even better. Our compliments to the chef, we will be back. If you’re ever in the Deerfield area, do yourself a favor and check them out.

I made a negative review but deleted it. They had a one off night. I ordered again and am as happy as I have been all the other times I have ordered. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. Even businesses. I will continue to be a repeat customer and happily support them. They have the best food and everything tastes homemade. I’m so happy and I have not had Italian food like they serve anywhere else. Best chicken parm i have ever had.

What a local gem! The menu was extensive and gluten friendly. So many delicious Italian dishes to choose from.
My pesto risotto with scallops was divine. Perfectly cooked, seasoned and a sizeable portion. You will likely leave with leftovers.
Also, excellent drinks! I got an aperol spritz and the house chianti. Both excellent.
Can we talk about the dessert: I mean just look at the picture. Every classic Italian sweet you could desire. The lemon cake disappeared quickly, the tiramisu shortly to follow. The carrots cake was moist and delicious. And who doesn’t love an Italian cookie?!
The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. It’s clearly a local staple. We were there on a Sunday and it was hopping!
Also such cool artwork around the perimeter of the restaurant. Take a look and grab a bite! You won’t be disappointed.

EDIT; My second visit matched my first 5 star experience. Overall great food and service (04/22/23 Saturday 5:30pm) Ordered food for 3 with one app and one dessert, $83 before Tip. (The take out person deserves a real Tip)
Easiest Carry Out Experience (04/16/23 Sunday 4:00pm) The woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly easy to hear and to speak with, She was knowledgeable of the Items I was having a hard time pronouncing. She was polite and well mannered.
The Carry Out is handled outback of the restaurant in its own building which is fantastic because I didn’t have to deal with the Chaos of walking through a busy restaurant to the back. It was handled in a Curbside fashion where it was brought to my car and paid with cash through my window. One of the best Carry Out Experiences of my life.
My wife and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana (Pictured) and the Chicken Tagliatelle ,Both were Top Notch in our opinions, Delicious Flavors and Cooked Well. My wife also loved their Tiramisu. Both entrees came with Italian style bread rolls sliced. Solid Carry out containers as well.
Two entrees and one dessert ran us $48 and change. Before Tip, with Tip $60 for an excellent dinner. Well worth it.
The only thing I will Recommend is to remember to ask for Utensils and any condiments (cheese/butter) as I forgot too.

Food was amazing and authentic. Our server Shelia gave great recommendations. We are just visiting the area and like to try non chain places and This mom and pop restaurant is a local gem. I got my sauce on the side so I could try the marinara and the vodka cream sauce.

Deerfield Italian Kitchen permitted us to come in early for a large funeral luncheon. The entire team was so wonderful and accommodating. We really enjoyed the food and the catering menu had lots of reasonable options at different price points. John and Tatiana were so flexible with us and helped us have our event go smoothly despite it being the holiday season and our guest list being in flux. We highly recommend working with Deerfield Italian Kitchen for your catering or event.

Family-owned restaurants are the best. Especially when the entire family works there! Been coming here for years, and I am never disappointed by the authentic quality in every dish. Traditionally closed on Monday, swing bye any other day of the week for some great Italian food! And the thin crust pizza makes for a solid appetizer!
