This was a really enjoyable Sunday lunch. Seafood gumbo a good starter. Fried oyster platters with sides fresh and delicious. Tropical seafood salad, as well as grilled chicken salad w balsamic nice and fresh. Beautiful afternoon for outdoor dining.

Very good place. Service was excellent. The food was great. The hogfisih was good. I didn’t like that the oysters were not separated from the shell. I feel like I should be able to slup them down without having to use a fork. They were blue points and they were good. The stone crab claws were amazing.

It is rare for me to eat out, and so I always want it to be a truly special event. Today, I wanted to be on the water, but I didn’t want to have to drive all the way out to the beach. I found this spectacular spot! The food was exquisite. I’ve never had Orange cream, crème brûlée. Sounds silly to start with dessert review first, but it was just so extraordinary. The smooth, dreamy texture that Crème brûlée is known for but, with a twist of orange cream and topped with heavy whipped cream, a mandarin segment and a sprig of mint. It was as beautiful to behold as it was to taste. Not only did it have the familiar sweet crackle glaze, it had a rim of crushed granulated sugar around the edge. You simply must experience this decadent creation! I love coconut shrimp and this did not disappoint. The orange marmalade dressing, both sweet and tangy, was delightful. The bourbon glazed bacon Brussels sprouts, topped with fresh shaved mozzarella was a celebration and a symphony of flavors and textures. Just stunning! The mashed sweet potatoes were lovely and the squash medley unlike any I’ve had before. The zucchini and yellow squash were tender but not overdone and set off nicely with sweet red onions and peppers. Honestly, it was truly a gourmet experience. The waiter was very kind and attentive, though I was just a table of one. The atmosphere was vibrant and soothing to my soul. Perfect music lightly danced in the background and the breeze cooled my skin, healed my wounded spirit, while it tousled the ends of my white locks. Water birds swam and dived for lunch and large fresh water turtles dipped in and out of sight, right at the surface, just out of reach, while a family of water birds perched , sunning themselves on a platform 20 yards out. What an amazing paradise like experience right here moments from home. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience! Fondest memories made, Christina.

First of all, Danielle is an exceptional part of the staff interfacing with customers. First time to this restaurant but Danielle made us feel as though we had been there since day one. Food was wonderful and the venue is splendid. My wife and i are sharing an anniversary and Danielle once again took care of us with one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten. A fantastic experience from beginning to end. Had reservations and was seated immediately after a friendly greeting by the host staff. The establishment was clean, inviting, and casually elegant. The wait staff and service was perfect.
All of the food was delicious, cooked great, and seasoned beautifully. The portions were plentiful and a great value.

We enjoyed all the food that we had and even though there was a slight mistake in our order, we only had a few extra minutes wait and the waiter was very apologetic that it was his fault that it occurred. The manager even stopped by and apologized as well. Can’t wait to return with friends to have another great meal.

I found the best way to judge a restaurant is how they perform on one of their busiest days – in this case Thanksgiving. The Deep Lagoon performed flawlessly. The table for 4 guests which I reserved (outside at the waters edge) was waiting for us when we arrived. For the next 2 hours we enjoyed delicious food prepared perfectly in an unhurried atmosphere. Our waitress, Desiree, was exceptional. She anticipated most of our needs and instantaneously supplied us with anything else we needed – more drinks, extra gravy, etc.
We have been here several times in the past few weeks and we keep going back because they are really the best of the best.

Wow, what an incredible way to wrap up the year! I can’t wait to return to Deep Lagoon after savoring such a fabulous meal and cocktail with my family. Mike welcomed us with the warmest and friendliest introduction as we settled into the outdoor bar, soaking in the serene view of the lake. Happy hour drinks and appetizers kick off at 2 PM, and let me tell you, the bourbon brussels sprouts were absolutely divine! I’m already buzzing with excitement to come back and try the oysters! Amazing food, outstanding service, and a fantastic ambiance—what more could you ask for? ️✨

Wow! The best seafood I have had in a long time. Everything was top notch. From the cocktail list to the food to the service, it was all beyond excellent. Everything we ordered was expertly prepared. The presentation and flavors were really, really good. The stone crab is always good and the stuffed hogfish was the best I have had. Great location with outside seating overlooking the water. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it.
