Food was really good and was surprised to see the fish sold fresh here. Selection looked great and was excited to try the whole menu. The calamari was a little over breaded, but the onion rings and shrimp tacos where perfect. We had a rough start on the hot outside patio, also no one was coming to serve us. The host was nice enough to let us move inside and we got service very quickly after that. Food came out quick and our waiter Bradley was attentive. We’d come back here again and again. BE AWARE boats can pull up right on the dock and can be loud.

Stopped in for lunch / happy hour. Sat outside. Was a beautiful day. Our waitress came out and took our drink order. Drinks came out fairly quickly as did the food. Then our waitress seemed to disappear. We ordered 3 of the happy hour appetizer entrees onion rings, fried green beans and the sliders. My only thing was the service

So we are locals, we had reservations for 4:30,well before the rush. We sat down along the patio harbor wall and clearly with the cold front moving in it was already cold and windy. there are only two tiny heaters for more for looks. The problem is this Corporation who has multiple locations was not prepared for this cold weather. The vice president of Ops or director of Ops or whoever is in charge should have prepared the restaurants. In addition it’s Prime season so clearly going to be full today. The majority of customers are senior citizens clearly they’re going to be cold. This restaurant was not prepared at all. so since it was 4:30 I asked one of the floor managers if we could move. Now here’s the thing with restaurant managers, during the busy times you need to be able to handle situations on the fly. This guy was either inexperience or in a bad mood. the way it came across clearly in his service standards was very poor. I dont need an attidute. I even said, hey just to let you know our reservation was somehow canceled through an email that we got from you about an hour and a half ago. Thank goodness we were able to have another reservation because we’re so early. This dude didn’t even make a comment or apologize, didn’t say he would look into it. Meanwhile I’m more concerned that his reservation program may not be working right. As more people filled up the place we saw more and more people requesting to move. Could you not lower the shutters cuz clearly there’s no Sunset as it’s blowing and a little bit rainy. I can see this happening at Fuzzy’s, but deep lagoon?? While the space may not have been able to handle the heaters due to airflow, the decision to not lower the shutters was clearly made and someone was told to not do it. Andrew saved our experiences by providing excellent service and the food was amazing as always. So its 6:00 now. They just lowered the awning which is ripped and flapping in the wind but still does not stop the wind from coming in as it’s just an awning.

I am appreciative of how Deep Lagoon handled 900 reservations on New Years Eve with out skipping a beat. We had reservations and they sat us within 5 minutes as busy as the were. The food and the service was great. They operated as a team with Brian as our main server. The place was so busy but it didn’t matter. On top of it valet parking was complimentary. They have never disappointed us.

What A fantastic find! The food at Deep Lagoon was delicious. The king crab was perfectly cooked. We were so impressed by the seamless service our server Madeline gave us, She was friendly, knowledgeable, and anticipated our needs. The Christmas decor was beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. Great entertainment too! We will definitely be back for the amazing food ,excellent service, and great music.

First the food is amazing! I had the hogfish lagoon style (the sauce is mouthwatering and white doesn’t love some hogfish?) and my mother had a ceaser salad with mahi…both so delicious! They also have fresh seafood for sale so you know I’ll be back to buy some swordfish but the star of the show was Loree…she is the best server I have had in a LONG time! I’m also in the industry so it takes a lot for me to say that they are great let alone the best. We will be back for not only the delicious food and waterfront views but just to sit in Loree’s section.

I’ll preface this with the parking situation was a little confusing. There is self parking if you enter from A&W Bulb, but if you enter from McGregor you’re coming in on the valet side. I parked on the wrong side on accident but still spoke to & tipped the valet and they seemed to have no problem since some people park on the wrong side frequently and don’t notice. Don’t make the same mistake lol!
Everything after entering the restaurant was fantastic. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The place itself is beautiful and right along the water. I recommend going around sunset time. Our server, Alexis, was very friendly and took her time to explain the menu and her favorite dishes to us.
Everything we ordered was just amazing! Even the complementary bread was great, especially with the cinnamon butter. We started with the calamari, crispy and light and tossed in sweet chili sauce for extra flavor. I loved the mussels sorrento, save your bread to dip in the sauce!!! My father loved the tripletail fish & chips. The shrimp fra diavolo was great and had lots of spice! The captain’s platter fried was a great variety, definitely loved the juicy scallops. I had the hogfish lagoon style and it tasted very clean and meaty and delicious!
This is certainly now my top seafood spot in the SWFL area! It was a great birthday dinner for me. We all left very happy.
