My experience at the Deep Lagoon Seafood & Oyster House in Fort Myers, Florida was nothing short of exceptional.

My sister, who lives in Cape Coral recommended this restaurant. After coming by boat the day before and not being able to find dock space, we came early for lunch the next day and were able to find a space for our boat. My wife had the muscles and said they were some of the best she’s ever had. I had the black grouper grilled and it was excellent. Also, the green beans were cooked just perfect. A beautiful place to have lunch right on the water.

Dinner for 4 on a Friday night while visiting relitives in Fort Myers. Service was friendly but we waited a bit between visits and drinks. We enjoyed sitting outside looking at the marina. Food was ok. Limied oyster selection, the stone crab a bit overpriced for the size (21.00) and the baked hogfish was overcooked a bit and dry. Sides were plentiful and tasty. The desert chocolate cake was HUGE, delish, and plenty for all to share but the coffee was cold. A lot of people rate this restaurant higher so maybe an off night. Expected better.

This place was excellent. Awesome service, great food, great drinks a really unique experience. Recommend highly might want to make a reservation especially in season. The triple tail fish was incredible as well as the hog fish. I know I’ve been wanting to try hogfish for a long time and it might not sound the best or look the best as a fish, but it taste incredible.

We started with delicious fried calamari followed by seafood gumbo soup which made you think you were in New Orleans. The fried oyster sandwich was beyond generous with the oysters as I counted at least 10 good size ones. Only 4 of them could fit on the sandwich, the others almost covered the entire plate. Last but not least, the service provided by Brad was nothing short of exceptional!

Absolutely delicious! Michael was an amazing server with big smiles and very attentive! (I sneaked a pix) We really enjoyed Black and Blue point oysters ! The lobster bisque was so creamy and topped w roe and extra lobster ! We caught $30 off a bottle of wine w purchase of 2 entrees so of course we grabbed an Alexander Valley Red… but the show stopper was the triple tail!!! Yummmm . The hogfish blackened was good as well!

Had a wonderful experience! Really enjoyed the apps shown. Also got the cajun trio… was not a fan of the fish in that dish but it may be personal preference… they brought a second piece which was a bit better. Service and atmosphere were excellent and pricing was as expected… on the high end… but for very quality seafood…. well worth it.

We had a large party including young kids for an event for my husband’s work. The staff was accommodating, prompt, and friendly. The kids loved the views of the marina. The food was delicious. My only small complaint is it is quite loud and difficult to have a conversation. Otherwise this is a great place.

Local colleague I was visiting recommended the place for some good seafood. Place is right at the edge of water. Atmosphere was nice. Sat in the covered patio area, was a bit humid and warm but heck if you are used to the weather, no biggie. The service was good. Ordered some crab cream Wantons, triple tail fish meal with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and for dessert I got the pineapple turn over cake. Everything was pretty good. The triple tail fish could have had a bit more seasoning added but no biggie. Will need to come back in the future and try their sushi grade tuna dinner.
