Very nice little spot for brunch/lunch that we discovered randomly while next door to foam brewery. The service was excellent, and really enjoyed their decor.
They had a terrasse outside that was also nice but was packed on the beautiful day we went, so we ate inside.
Food wasn’t too bad, but definitely missing flavor and love for my liking.
The only thing I thought was super delicious was the banana bread and that really delicious homemade butter or cream cheese. Miammm

We came for breakfast but ended up having brunch just because the wait was so long. At the end of all of it, it was surprisingly worth it!
The banana bread was super good! The bowl breakfast (with eggs and coconut rice) was fantastic!
The service is relaxed but attentive. The music is good background music and at a reasonable level that allows conversation.
The place is not cheap but the portions are generous!

Eating here was such an pleasant experience – food, staff people and setting were all just great. We are vegan and the hostess was very knowledgeable (we didn’t have to explain!), pointing out to us in detail the several vegan options on the menu. We had an absolutely delicious vegan lunch. The wait people were so friendly; we felt like valued guests. And the setting is casual and comfortable. This is just such a nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

This place totally rocks! Excellent atmosphere, very clean, lots of light, lovely decor. Our waiter Nathaniel was outstanding, he was chill but attentive, very authentic, and attentive to details that are important to us such as lemons for water, coffee refills without having to ask, and food brought to us hot without delay. Also, being very busy, we did not feel rushed at all by our waiter. We always tip well when not rushed. Food was incredible! We highly recommend this place!!!!! Thank You!

We ate there today for the first time and the food was amazing!! The staff was very attentive. The vibe was so good. If we could change anything it would be the size of the plates for how expensive it was. My son got the DC tacos and they were soooo fresh and tasty. But for $20, seemed a bit stiff for 2 small tacos.
The appetizer loaded spuds were amazing, so tasty!
The juice was so fresh and hot the spot!

The owner/ manager of the restaurant came to our table a couple of times. It’s impressive to see a owner doing work at the restaurant. It gives you a better understanding of your employees and customers. The server was about average. The place was full of older people so getting a lot of looks because I am a larger muscular black man i’m used to. But beyond that , it was a good experience. I give Kudos to the owner or manager that came to our table very respectful and polite.

I’m reviewing 2 recent takeout meals of chicken tortilla soup and taco salad (with chicken), so no comment about the atmosphere today (although the vibe is always great when we dine at the restaurant!). The soup and the taco salad are two of my favorite meals in Burlington and I could eat them several times a week!
You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! My next order here will be tacos, so stay tuned for that review! So thankful that Charles and Anastasia are doing their thing at Deep City!

Best brunch in Burlington! The restaurant has a great variety, each dish surpassing in expectations than the previous. Must try their specials: chicken and biscuit stew and pound cake. Made my day!

A hip new American restaurant with a hint of southern flavor by the shore, popular location on the weekend with friendly and attentive staff.
Unfortunately, it shared the bathroom with the adjacent brewery and lack of the changing table in both men and women’s restroom.
They also added a 2% hidden charge of “kitchen service fee” which I was not aware of before ordering. I would be fine if I was informed ahead of time or they charged higher price per dish to increase the pay for the staff but was annoyed to learn this while I received the check.
Still a decent dining experience and I would still recommend this place.
