This was my first time coming to Deek’s chicken! I saw the picture of the biscuit sandwich on Google, and had to come down to check it out. I was surprised to find out that they use only beef tallow when cooking the food. The fries were really crispy and yummy. If you live in Close to West Caldwell you should definitely try this place out. I would’ve uploaded a picture, but I ate a sandwich so quickly.

I just picked up for the first time while on duty at the rescue squad, and writing my review while eating. Less than 10 min for fresh hot food. The young girl at the counter explained that everything is fried in beef tallow fresh to order, I ordered mild chicken sandwich and it has just the right amount of heat as I’m not really a fan of spicy, it is so crispy and tender and with the pickles and the coleslaw on it, including bun it is outstanding. I also ordered a side of fries also fried in beef tallow, and you really can taste the difference. When I opened the takeout box, they didn’t just slap together a sandwich. It was nice and put together with Care. Owning food, businesses myself, I tend to be hesitant when places open in the first few weeks, but they obviously planned and are doing extremely well in their soft opening. I was lucky to meet Sam the owner and you could tell that the passion is there and he is actually there which you don’t always say, especially after the first two weeks of an opening. There’s another hot chicken place around the corner and I have to say this place is spotless Which is always the first sign of a clean kitchen. I wish them the best of luck and this will become one of my regular places, especially when on duty. I forgot to take pictures before I started, but you can see the nice crust on it and the quality of the chicken.

This place has great options from Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and biscuits , to loaded fries , wraps , wings and tenders. No matter how you get the chicken it’s all seed oil free and juicy and crispy. The sandwiches are loaded with coleslaw , their signature Deek Sauce and seasoning with your choice of heat level. Also a cheese option and pickles. The loaded mac and cheese has creamy Mac and is also loaded with chicken , coleslaw , pickles and signature Deek sauce. The fries are crispy and They also do traditional wings in 4 flavors – classic , buffalo, spicy Deeks or Lemon pepper. Lemon pepper is a must try and they do a serious milkshake that they literally blend in a whole piece of chocolate cake with ice cream , and top it with crushed Oreos and whipped Cream. Everything I tried was delicious. Frying in Beef Tallow is on a whole different level with fried chicken. There’s lots of seating , drink choices and fast and friendly service. I can’t wait to go back.

The hot chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy on the outside juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of heat. The sauce tied everything together without overpowering the flavor. The monster fries were crispy, loaded and seriously addictive. Great portions, great flavor… I’ll definitely be back

The wings friend in the beef tallow were absolutely amazing. You can really taste the difference from the other traditional pils kitchens use. They were also nice and crispy!

This is one of our favorite spots! My daughter and I enjoy their food very much, especially the chicken sandwich, fries, and don’t get me started on the delicious shakes! I have yet to try the wings but I plan to on our next visit. Everything is made fresh to order and cooked in beef tallow which makes it extra tasty. We tend to go here late so it’s usually fairly quiet. While we enjoy the time together we also love speaking to their wonderful staff. They are very attentive, friendly, and passionate about their food. Simply put, they are wonderful people and doing an amazing job! We wish them much success. God Bless!

Came to Deeks for iftar tonight, after seeing it on TikTok and it lived to the hype. Using beef tallow you can taste the difference and enjoy the quality of the food and authenticity of Nashville hot chicken. The service was amazing and were hospitable people. Jimmy was excellent to us. I will definitely be back.

This has quickly become a lunch staple when I need to get away from the office. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The spice level is on point, and the sauce is unique and worth the visit. Food always comes out hot. Very much comfort food, and recommend to anyone in the area to stop in and enjoy!
