Tried their Zafran tea, along with Irani tea, samosa, and masala fries for the first time today. Everything was really tasty! The tea brought back memories of Dhaka. Loved that the samosas were fresh and perfectly fried.

Worst food experience. The shawarma was completely uncooked and had a bad smell totally inedible. This is unacceptable and unsafe. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to report the issue, but they are not picking up the call at all. Very poor food quality and terrible customer service. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ambience is fine. Ambience is interesting with their unique ceiling and chandeliers. Their noodles with paneer 65 add on was decent.

I had very high hopes and expectations from Deccan Morsels Sunnyvale after drinking tea at their Fremont location but they disappointed me completely! Their irani chai is not at all irani. I’m from Hyderabad and their irani chai is no where close to ’Hyderabadi’. It’s so bland, no sweetness at all and they just put saffron on the top and claim it Zaffrani chai LOL. I’ve ordered chicken shawarma, paneer 65 roll, chicken 65 roll and all of these looked so reddish like beef, so bland, not even mildly spicy. I couldn’t even complete eating half of those and was about to puke. Threw them all! On top of it, these items are super expensive which aren’t worth at all.
The only reason I visit this place is for the items like Qubani ka Meetha and Bun Muska (my kid likes it). Other items like Bun Malai, Shahi Tukra, Kaddu ki kheer are not at all sweet and doesn’t feel like having desserts.
I was so excited when I got to know that deccan morsels was coming to Sunnyvale but didn’t see this coming! Highly disappointed!

I’ve previously reviewed the Fremont location of Deccan Parcels, which didn’t leave a good impression. This spot is a bit better overall, but the haleem still disappoints. On the bright side, I enjoyed the rumali roti and the mutton dish. Still wondering why no one makes a better Irani chai here, even though they claim to be from Hyderabad.

I went to the place today. Ordered an Irani Chai and Paneer 65 roll. The irani chai tasted average, but excessive sugar. It comes pre made with sugar so there is no way you can adjust it. The other one is Paneer 65 roll, the paneer was excessively colored with food color. I’m not even sure whether it’s healthy. It’s very dark red and looked very unappetizing. I’d recommend you to look into this before purchasing. Also for store owners, if you are seeing this, please find other ways to may food appetizing, not with excessive food colors please.

I usually visit this place for tea and maska bun. They have one of the best tea you can ever have in the Bay Area. This location is cozy and I love the Fremont location as it’s closer and communicable for me. The food tasted similar to the Fremont location but I felt this is not up to the Fremont location (my preference). Definitely check out their shawarma and lamb ghost. I love their flavor and as always their taste is unique and hits perfect all the time. Must visit for tea.

I visited Deccan Morsels to buy Irani chai, but unfortunately the experience was not pleasant. The guy at the front desk was very rude. Customers deserve basic respect, and this kind of attitude really affects the overall experience.
The chai was good, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. I hope the management addresses this issue so that future visits are better.

Food is good, Service is great. It’s too noisy though. Also towards evening you will have to wait for a seat. Also if you are wary of sharing a table with unknown people then you will have to wait for one to be free. It’s self service and multiple people who don’t know each other can sit on one table due to lack of space. There is enough space but the joint is popular amongst Indians especially for Hyderabad food.
