Loved the people Loved the Food Loved the place thought there doing renovation it felt nostalgic. Definitely will be coming back. Will get pictures next time. The food definitely has that homade kinda feel. I am not a tarter sauce guy but oh man. The fish and hush puppies and porkchops. Just swing on buy you won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget the cheesecake if they have it.

They are doing MASSIVE renovations. So seating has changed, where you park and enter have changed. It is completely different right now.
The food is good but can be hit and miss.
Sometimes the chicken breasts are too dry, It all depends on who is in the kitchen that day.
They have great deserts, just skip the one with pretzels, they are always mushy. The cheesecake is fantastic.

If you are looking for simple country food that taste delicious this fits the bill….fried chicken, country ham, turnip greens, mac and cheese…ect….ect…desserts are delicious and varied….banana pudding…blueberry cheesecake…a peanut butter cake that was amazing!! Price is moderate but it is buffet style all you can eat and the service was very friendly… Didn’t give 5 stars because had to wait to long for them to bring 2 drinks they had overlooked.
