What a lovely place! We had a two day work retreat and needed a meeting room. Debi’s charged a a minimal fee and provided our food and drinks throughout the day. Staff were quick, quiet, and customer service was too notch!
Fried chicken, French onion soup and the fish and grits were fantastic. Such an accommodating local business without all the high minimums other restaurants charge. The meeting room was quiet and private. We will be back!

I went for lunch with a friend. Excellent food and service. I had the lobster grilled cheese and fries. It was Excellent. My friend had the crab cake stack which he proclaimed excellent as well. Our server was friendly,and well-mannered. Great atmosphere, but limited parking as it’s near River street, a popular tourist destination. I would definitely recommend having lunch or breakfast here. Every dish I saw being served looked great.

Jelly packages on the table, along with pre wrapped table ware, The atmosphere is completely delightful, there is a real historical feeling in this old building and it is comfortable. The tables are set with style and comfort, with all of the chairs being different styles and unique. They even have fun little play area for small children!

The service and employees were fantastic. The food was pretty good. It didn’t exactly knock me off my feet but it was okay. My favorite was actually the turkey club. I got it with mashed potatoes and all of that was very good. The omelet and biscuits and gravy were just okay. I did really like the brick floor. I haven’t seen that before and it added to the atmosphere.

Debi’s gives off a negative impression at first glance due to the dirty carpets running down the stairs, but the rustic wood ceiling, combined with the brick walls and floors, creates a cozy atmosphere. The veggie omelet was excellent, clean, light, and reminiscent of a homemade dish. Waffle was excellent. However, the hash browns/potatoes were underwhelming, as they were just baked potatoes with no seasoning. That said, the customer service was truly 5 star, absolutely outstanding!

They don’t have a sign in wait, we had a small wait time but it was well worth it.
This family owned & operated slice of historical goodness has become my husband and I new favorite in 1 visit!
He ordered the chicken & Belgium waffle with a homemade peach, walnut maple syrup was outstanding!
I ordered the New Orleans Crab Stack…WOW! Fried green tomatoes in between homemade crab cakes, a remoulade sauce, 2 eggs and home fries.
Both these were amazing to the last bite. The price was well within reason for each item.
The coffee was great! Normally I use cream & sugar.. I drank it black!

This was my first visit to “The best waffles in Savannah”. I will admit, the waffles were most excellent (cue the air guitar – Bill and Ted reference). Nice basement dinner. Great place to stop in for breakfast with great southern hospitality! Worth another visit.

My sweetie and I ate here today after staying at the East Bay Inn. Warm welcoming southern hospatlality. Generpus servings that you cannot possibly finish. We both ordered the eggs benedict. I do not take pork, sp i got mine om the side; I gv mine to my sweetie. Altogether a great meal was had ny both of us. They gv a discount to you if you stay at the Inn.

While we were staying in Savannah for our anniversary trip we had breakfast every morning at Debi’s Restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The food, atmosphere and the waitresses were great. They even played oldies on the radio which we liked. Debi the owner was very nice to us also. We loved our breakfast here every morning and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We recommend this restaurant.
