Very very boring.
There wasn’t much flavor and the rolls did not stay together.
The restaurant was clean but definitely not the atmosphere you would expect for sushi.

I live in the area and saw how many high reviews this place had months ago but when I drove up and saw it was completely empty and grungy looking from the outside I decided not to go. Until tonight… I thought let’s see again. Empty once again but decided to try anyways.
The only reason I’m not leaving a one star is because the woman at the check out counter is a ray of sunshine and the service was otherwise satisfactory.
This place is extremely over priced. We paid $60 for two rolls and some dumplings. The presentation is pretty, but honestly both of our rolls were pretty gross. Hard to swallow (and we eat sushi regularly). I feel like all the 5 star reviews are a scam so I felt the need to leave my own.

Didn’t expect much walking into Dear Sushi, but this spot turned out to be a solid find. The place is clean and well-kept, though the walk-up counter setup threw me off at first—doesn’t scream “sushi joint,” but don’t let that fool you.
We ordered the Firecracker Roll, the Wrap & Roll, and a fried rice with teriyaki chicken for the kids. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. You could tell the ingredients were clean and handled right. That fried rice? Spot on—good sear, seasoned well, and the chicken was tender, not dry or rubbery.
Sure, the location feels a little tucked away and rough around the edges, but let’s be honest—some of the best eats aren’t on main street. With rent prices being what they are, hidden gems like this make the most of it.
Bottom line: great food, fair prices, and a low-key spot worth checking out. I’d absolutely recommend giving it a shot.

If there’s one thing right in this world right now it’s Dear Sushi. We’ve been dining (as often as possible) for more than 5 years now and though that may not be a lot of time spent, I can plainly say, Dear Sushi is the best version of Sushi a first timer or a long timer can want. From the moment you try just one and I mean even one you will feel continuous wave of welcoming food delight because it’s just so fresh and you can almost taste the love and care it’s made with, but no need, when you walk in you’ll feel that instantly. The owners and Chefs greet you with the calm welcoming you hope you get the same treatment walking through the pearly gates. But I digress, it’s simple the best and it can almost never be more yet it’s all you would ever need when it comes to a clean sushi experience one could want. 11/10

This nondescript sushi place is my sister’s current favourite and offers limited choices, but it’s fresh, hygienic and well made. She’s a seasoned sushi goer and eats everything, but I am vegan. This was an unlikely place to have such nice sushi for us both. Friendly staff. They had only 2-3 vegan choices, but the avocado fresh spring roll and the vegetable (AACC) roll were excellent. Filling and tasty. The rice paper is thin and just enough to hold everything together. The toasted sesame seeds added a nice crunch and the rice is good consistency. They give low sodium soy on request. Each table as its own tray of dining essentials. Food is plated tastefully. Would definitely order again. I hope they expand their veggie/vegan options.

This is the first time we’ve tried this restaurant near our house, a place that had been recommended to us and had good reviews. We tried it today, and my husband and I really liked it. The sushi was delicious, and the service from the lady who works there was very friendly. I wish there were more rolls and that the portions were more filling, as it’s a bit expensive, but overall, it was very good.

Very Good sushi. Fresh. We started with edamame and vegetable spring rolls that were both good. I had the crab roll and 4 pieces of nigiri with an add on of eel. My wife had the vegetable roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The sushi was very good. They finish the rolls we had with crunchy fried onions. It was a nice add.

Traveled in from FL and selected this highly rated sushi spot based on google reviews. I was extremely disappointed. Sushi was roll was expensive, poorly assembled, unable to hold shape, and not good. Fish quality in nigiri was slightly above average but rice had no flavor and the fish temperature was too cold. Service was good but for $45 I got one roll and 6 pieces of nigiri sushi. Overall I would rate 3.5 out of 10. I will not be returning as there must be a bunch of bot reviews.

The lady who works there is amazing . Always smiles and makes you feel welcome in her store . Wanted to get crunchy crab roll to support her business and it did not disappoint. Tasted great and fresh. Will definitely buy again .
