Brunswick has multiple high quality pizza joints (Fatbob, Ohio Pie, etc.) but I’ve never had top notch pizza in Strongsville. This place had some of the best reviews of pizza restaurants and it did NOT disappoint at all! Very high quality Detroit style pizza and probably the best ranch I’ve ever had. We all loved their chicken bacon ranch pizza, but the veggie was the best. It was so good, that I didn’t get a picture of the pizzas we got until after we were done. The pizza had just the right amount of cheese and the crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside. Definitely my favorite place to get pizza in Strongsville right now!

Had to try some local pizza places while in Cleveland. Found this one on Google Maps close to the shopping we were doing. Placed order online. This place is carry out only. Got a 10 cut half pepperoni, half pepperoni and banana pepper. Also ordered cheese bread. The bread/crust is thicker and airy. Flavor was good. The cheese on cheese bread is a bit salty. Not very greasy at all. Edges of the bread has a nice snap but that’s it on pizza and sticks. The pizza had lighter sauce, sauce had good flavors. Pepperoni had good spice. Banana peppers were the same as anywhere else. All in all, it’s a convenient location and pretty good pizza.

I’ve been hoping to find a good detroit style pizza place near me for years and years. Glad to have Dear Mama’s as an option. I got a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, half sausage, extra sauce for reference. Really good!

We wanted to find a new pizza place in Strongsville. I looked up ratings and decided to give Dear Mama’s Pizza a try. We had friends over and we all enjoyed. We ordered online to go, so cannot comment on anything other than the pizza which was very good, especially the fresh sausage.

Finally tried this place out and was surprised! Their pies look small but they are mighty! Detroit style so they’re heavy handed with the sauce on top which honestly, I’m not overly fond of due to heartburn. That aside, their sauce is on the sweet side and very tasty. Wife and I had the pepperoni with extra cheese (did not disappoint!) and if you’re a fan of the Jets deep dish crust, this is a much more friendly version for the roof of your mouth.
Also pictured is the ranch fries which quite honestly stole the show. It’s incredibly rare to get good fries from a pizza place but their house made ranch is fantastic and makes this the perfect appetizer before diving into one of their delicious pizzas.
Lastly, we also tried the boneless wings. BBQ and Hot Honey. Both flavors were on point with the hot honey not being too spicy while the BBQ was a refreshing flavor that paired perfectly with their ranch.
Price wise, I feel like they’re well worth the asking price as the food is delicious and filling. They do offer a light sauce option so I’ll definitely be hitting that going forward but aside from that, they’ve got a really great thing going here so check them out!

Edit: after discussing the situation with the owner, she offered a discount due to the inconvenience, and deeply apologized. Changing the rating to 5 star for outstanding service. The pizza we ordered was delicious. Reminded me of a blend of Detroit style and authentic Italian. Sauce is a bit on the sweeter side, if you like savory, request light sauce. The chicken had a great texture and breading flavor was great. Proud to have this establishment in my home city!
Went to their website to put an order in and the site showed as open on labor day, I put the order in, they charged my card. I arrived to find out they were closed. Will be calling for a refund next day. The site should have been updated for holiday hours.

Dear Mamas is the best pizza I’ve ever had and, to be clear, I don’t actually like pizza very much, but I love Dear Mamas! Pizza is my husband’s favorite food and he would eat it everyday if he could! Our friends recommended Mamas, so I begrudgingly agreed to try it. I’ve since ordered it four more times over a two week period. It’s truly amazing! The crust is thick, but perfectly crusty and all the toppings are fresh and high quality…my favorite is the Italian sausage. I highly recommend giving it a try, because it’s amazing and I would like to think the lovely residents of Strongsville would support a small business and a phenomenal independent restaurant rather than one of the many chains in our city. You won’t be disappointed!!

If you’re vegan, YOU MUST GO. Holy amazing. The cheesy bread, the BBQ vegan chicken (add pineapple), the white sauce with vegan pepperoni. All AMAZING. the shop itself has separate stations as well for all the vegan pizzas which just about made me cry. My mom got a reg pizza and said she could have eaten the whole 6 cut pie in one sitting it was so good. I will for sure be back here soon for more vegan pizza 🙂

First time trying this pizza place just a very simple pizza ordered and unfortunately we will never be back! We really do not like doing bad reviews but there was honestly nothing good about this place. Upon arrival they said they had no order and husband my had to call me,I gave him the phone # and time then the man said oh yeah? Once we took it home it was absolutely the worst pizza we have ever had . I couldn’t even eat one piece. Not sure how they are still open,such a waste of money!
