Wonderful lunch! I had the pork tenderloin and Hubby had the turkey and dressing. Large portions, seasoned really well and both entrees were tender. Mashed potatoes were scratch and very good. Got a few lemon cookies and they were yummy. Our server was great! Check it out!

The wait here is definitely worth it. After the hostess told us we would have a 25 minute wait, one of the other employees ensured us he could get us a seat within 10 minutes. We got seated about 6 minutes later. The cornbread was my favorite, and the pork loin is the best I have ever had. Unfortunately because we came in so late in the day we didn’t get to try their most popular cake, but they had plenty of other delicious choices to choose from. The waitress was very attentive and made sure to check in on us quite frequently. Will definitely be coming back to try some of their other foods.

Edit: 09/08/25 The last two experiences just hasn’t been as good. I wish ot wasn’t so, but the flavor, quality and portion size have all suffered a downward trend.
First experience. The food was excellent and they weren’t stingy with it either. This place has an upscale mom and pop vibe featuring southern inspired cuisine and deserts. I wish I had looked at the desert case before ordering so much good food. I can recommend the grilled pork loin it was delicious and with 3 vegetables was a little more than I could finish for lunch.
Second visit: The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli casserole were all delicious. The peanut butter brownie didn’t last long enough for a picture. I took the fired coconut and a chocolate pies home for later.
Third visit: The Grilled Bone in Pork Chops were smokey and delicious. I’ll be coming back for these. The peanut butter brownie is a must have.for dessert.
Fourth visit: The Herb Roasted Pork Loin is outstanding. A bite of half meat and dressing with gravy come together very well. There is so much flavor in the herb crust on the Pork Loin I was only disappointed I didn’t have more. The Peanut butter brownie I had for dessert was certainly some consolation.

We called ahead to get in line for dinner. The blackened grouper was as good as I hoped it would be. Absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. And our granddaughter enjoyed the hot and fresh cornbread and rolls offered before dinner.

This meat and three is amazing. The pot roast with gravy hit my palette with a rush of flavor that made me say, “wow!” The potatoes au gratin complemented the pot roast. My server Suzanne graciously replaced my salad when it came with bacon bits. She was very nice and made the whole experience of dining here that much better. Kudos. Highly recommend this local eatery!!!

I’m in Oak Ridge for work and ate here Tuesday after a co-worker recommended the meatloaf. Well Thursday is meatloaf night. Tuesday I had pot roast with homemade banana pudding. Amazing. I came back Thursday for meatloaf with German chocolate cake. Unbelievable. Sam and Malerie were two of the wonderful waitresses. If you’re anywhere in this area try it. You’re going to be amazed.
P.S. Taking another banana pudding for tomorrow.

Consistently good southern dishes with your choice of sides. Full menu plus rotating entrees, sides and desserts listed on chalkboard on the wall. Free bread as a starter while your food is made.
Some of my favorites are catfish, meatloaf and broccoli casserole, along with the cornbread muffins.
Only complaint is that some of the servers aren’t the best.

We found this place on google and it did not disappoint one bit. It’s hard to get good collard greens in Wisconsin and these were phenomenal. The green beans were fantastic, and the pot roast was perfection. And Kevin our server/waiter was exceptional. Fantastic southern hospitality, fantastic food. This was well worth it.
