Walked in around noon on Valentine’s Day. We had plenty of tables to choose from with a few other groups party seated. Service was fantastic. I got the pulled pork mac and cheese and my husband got the pulled pork with a side of fries. The fries were amazing!! It was our first visit but we look forward to coming back soon!

The reviews here were very deceiving. We tried it a few weeks ago based on all the good reviews. The atmosphere was typical for this kind of place. Our waitress was amazing, even though we were ordering to go. While we waited she kept refilling our waters, and informing us of the wait time updates on our order.

My husband and I were having dinner and a movie at home. Dinner was a disaster we ordered 3 meals to share. Smoked Wings (sauce on the side), Mac N Cheese, Brisket with fries. And a Mac N cheese meal that came with brisket in it. I also ordered a side of the cornbread. The wings looked they had been fried without breading, not smoked and had no smoked flavor. They were huge steroid looking wings (which I hate). I assume the sauce covers up the lack of smoked flavor for others. The brisket wasn’t any better in flavor (tender yes) almost as if boiled first, I could be wrong. Either way we didn’t like any of the food and wasted $70 because it all went to the trash. People are visual, so here is a photo of the cornbread I was sold. I can’t believe whoever boxed it would allow it to leave the restaurant with a customer. It should have been trashed the minute it came out of the oven burnt.

I had lunch at Dean’s. I ordered the Dean’s Burger with fries. I have to say that the burger wasn’t very good. It was very..very dry. The pulled pork on the top was extremely tough. One piece of pork about the size of a finger was burnt and hard. The bottom bun was toasted black. I tried a few bites then stopped. It was bad. It felt like it was not made with any care. About half of the hand cut fries were small bits of fries. The service was friendly although it’s slow. There were 6 people in the restaurant including me yet it took about 25 minutes to get food after placing my order. The place has a nice bar restaurant vibe. For a burger that costs nearly 20 dollars… I expect a lot better.

Music set at a good volume. Good and timely on food brought to table. Comfortable atmosphere. Check out the picture. Sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts are awesome.

Have been here a couple of times and service was good each time. The food is delicious!! My only caution is to ask about the heat of the sauce that comes with your dinner. I got one that was too spicy for me, (I don’t do spice very well though). But even so, it was still delicious. Highly recommend!

from out of town for a volleyball tournament and we wound up here. This place exceeds expectations! The loaded fries were BOMB. Burnt tips- phenomenal. Mac and cheese- soooooo good!

The staff is friendly, polite, respectful.

Would come again. Loved my experience here!

Found Dean’s on TripAdvisor and thought I’d try it. Smaller place but a lot of people. I wasn’t sure if you ordered at the counter or table service, and I finally asked at the bar. I sat near the door, and the server came to take the drink order for ice tea. Being my first time here, I wanted to try several things. I ordered the smoked quest dip with chicken under the shareable. It came with homemade chips. This stuff is to die for. I could have eaten this as a meal. I also ordered the pulled pork and fries. After I ordered, the place filled up. Another server brought my dip. No plates were brought, and no one came back, so I ate just off the appetizer plate. Again, this was wonderful. Spicy tortilla chips with almost like a rub on them. The dip was thick with shredded chicken.

They brought huge plate of small shoestring like fries, not super crispy, which is my preference and not dripping with grease. There was no ketchup on the table.

The pulled pork was tender and good but without any sauce. The original server came back as I was almost done. I asked for BBQ sauce, ketchup, and sweetener for my tea. She brought a small container of sauce and an unmarked bottle of ketchup, which I guess is also homemade. It was the consistency of applesauce. She also brought another glass of iced tea and apologized that she had gotten busy with other guests. I asked for to-go containers and the check. She brought 2 brown cardbard containers that needed to be folded. Nothing for the dip. I again asked for a container, specifically for the dip, which she brought a round plastic container.

Prices: dip $10, hand cut fries $6, 1/2# of pulled pork $8, tea $2.25. With tip, it was just over $31. Granted, I made another meal from the leftover, and it was surely good. I will return and know to request ketchup and sauce the next time.

The atmosphere and staff are warm and welcoming. We tried the Elote dip which was a chalkboard special and it didn’t disappoint with pulled pork on top and house made chips. I ordered the cornbread toast as my entree and it was spectacular! My husband ordered the burnt end and the sauce was delicious, the meat was tender and the shoestring fries were crispy and well seasoned.
We asked about their brunch because there isn’t a posted menu and the waitress shared it with us. We will without a doubt be back!

Today was our first time trying Dean’s and it will not be our last. The staff was nice, friendly, welcoming & all around what you hope for in a local restaurant. We started off with the cornbread toast, and it was so delicious. I got the brisket sandwich with no bun. The brisket was tender and juicy, the fries are made there and the ketchup is house made and taste like applesauce kinda. My husband had the porkchop special and it was tender and juicy, great flavor.

First time at Dean’s & will definitely be back! Great selection of specialty cocktails, mocktails, ciders & beer. I had the BBQ Burnt Ends & fries. It was a good size portion & didn’t disappoint!
Others at my table had a few Mac n cheese variations all of the said were really good. Would like to go back to try their Bread Pudding. They do make a lot of things in house down to the ketchup & some of the syrups used in their cocktails. If you haven’t been yet, put Dean’s on your list of places to eat!
