Deano’s is a great place to visit for a quick drink or a full night out. They offer a variety of weekly events, including line dancing lessons, Dirty Bingo, and sports. Additionally, there is always live music on the weekends if you are looking for something to do. The staff is all wonderful and amazing.

This is a really great pub. Homey and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. Came to check out a friends band. The place is clean and has a really good vibe. They are welcoming to San Diego music scene and have lots of various events. Good prices on drinks. Well worth the visit. You can tell they are trying to find a niche in a tough market. Great selection of local beers. Great cocktails!

This is a fun little dive bar in La Mesa. We went on Open Mic night and there was lots of great music. The bartender was great too. I don’t remember her name but she had lots of tattoos including a butterfly on her neck. She took great care of us and provided awesome service. They don’t serve food but you can bring in anything you want to eat. Overall a great experience!

Seems like it could be a decent place, but for them to charge $3 extra because you want your whiskey “on the rocks”, that’s insane. Not like it is a large single cube, fancy type ice…. but the same ice they give you when you get a coke.

Lovely hole in the wall with great bands, but 10$ IPA’s are a bit overtaxed with bars in downtown La Mesa offering same IPA’s for 7$

This is the second time I’ve been here since they changed owners.The appearance of the bar has definitely been upgraded. He knocked out a partial wall to expose the street view. Also seems to be inclusivity to LGBTQ. Sundays pool is free.
I came here for an afternoon drink. The advertised $6 Jameson which enticed me to come in. I had two drinks and got my bill. The total was $13.02. Nothing an extra dollar was a big deal but most places you go to the taxes are included with the drinks so you know what you’re paying. I wasn’t sure why so I asked the bartender and she was very snarky with me after I told her I was going to make others aware. She said they were fixing it in January. I didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed at all. There was no music playing which seemed to force me to play the Touch tunes jukebox which cost extra money.
Overall, the place was ok. Maybe worth visiting to form your own opinion.
