Food is excellent and atmosphere is “higher class” for the area, which is a welcome change. They have a gigantic lot and it actually gets filled to the max on occasion. Expect around $30+ per person, but you will not be disappointed.

Couldn’t comment on the food. We never tried it. We came in at 5pm and we saw a sign that said “please feel free to sit anywhere”. We sat down at an empty table, saw it was dirty, and then promptly moved to a different table. After waiting for about 20 minutes without being visited by a host or waiter we left without even being acknowledged. A table adjacent to us came in and were seated and had their orders taken promptly in that same time span. But we were never acknowledged. Never ate and had to leave after waiting. I realize the establishment is fairly new, but ensuring a member of the wait staff speaks to you is really the bare minimum to run a restaurant. I came in with high hopes and left with a disappointing experience.

We’ve been looking forward to trying Deano’s since we heard it was preparing to open. The food was good, though it seemed a little overpriced for what you got/portion size. If it wasn’t for the terrible service, I wouldn’t have felt compelled to leave a review. All of my Google reviews thus far have been 5-star.
Our waitress walked right past our table several times without even looking our way when we were trying to get her attention for refills. She seemed to have tunnel vision, only able to focus on one simple task at a time, ie take a check to one table, then go to the server station. A to-go container to another table, then back. Napkins to another table, then back again. All the while never checking on her other tables along the way.
Despite that, at that point in the evening, we felt we would come back to give it another try. When we got the check, we noticed a simple error. We had ordered a sandwich that the menu listed as being able to have up to 3 standard toppings at no extra charge (see picture). The ONLY topping we added was banana peppers, a “standard” topping. I mentioned to the waitress that there was just a small mixup on the bill, that being we were charged extra for the banana peppers. She told me that banana peppers were definitely an “upgraded” topping. I mentioned to her that their menu lists them as “standard” and showed her from their own menu. Still, not a big deal, just a simple error.
She said she would have to discuss it with her manager. We couldn’t see who was speaking, but we were right next to the server station near the kitchen, as someone was raising their voice in irritation stating that the menus were incorrect and that these people (us) were charged for the banana peppers and now are complaining about it. When the waitress returned with the adjusted bill I let her know that we weren’t trying to complain, but simply pointing out a mistake on the bill. She assured us that she wasn’t the one raising their voice on the other side of the partition. I’m guessing it was the manager, but can’t be sure.
I understand that running a restaurant, especially a new one, can be hectic, but if you are going to express irritation and angrily “vent” about your patrons, it’s probably more dignified if you do so out of ear shot. Not saying we’ll never go back, but it will definitely be awhile. Hopefully they can get all the kinks worked out.
