I throughly loved my experience here.
The taste testing helped me find the right flavor I was searching for. I as well bought many other fantastic yummy items to eat and cook with. Plus something extra special smooth for my cup of Joe.
Awesome Distillery! Can’t wait to go back.

Just one taste of the moonshine and whiskeys will make your tastebuds happy. Oh my goodness the moonshine is so tasty and so many flavors to choose from. Our favorite was butter pecan for sure. The whiskey is very smooth and easy to love. Megan was so sweet and helpful in letting us taste the moonshine we loved the best. Great salesperson. Ryan and Kass served samples of smooth tasty whiskey and let us decide our favorite brew.

About to buy some shine but stopped At their saloon to grab a quick drink for the walk on the strip. I love how this place looks and feels. I want to attend a rowdy country or rock show here for a local band but maybe next time. Here with the kiddos in the day time. But none the less enjoying Deadwood

Oh my. Long gone are the days when I lived in Knoxville, Tennessee and you had to sneak up into the Smokies to this old Airstream and buy your moonshine. Now it’s a cottage industry. And this business has some tasty offerings. I purchased the BlackBerry. Didn’t need to try any other flavor. If I had bought the 5$ flight of taste offerings, in this heat, I would have been snockered. I did walk next door looking for a pecan whiskey. But, there was none. I tried the cinnamon whiskey. Even though it’s smooth and flavorful, I was still longing for pecan flavor to make pecan whiskey milkshakes. The ladies handing out samples are a hoot to chat with. Be NICE to them!

Places that give free samples sell more things… they are doing it right.

There are so many great products to look at and try.

Would be a 5, but what’s going on with the restrooms?? At least the sign gives you warning ⚠️

I have only left one other bad review on google, cause I hate to do it. But this was a really bad experience. The bartender cocked an attitude with us the second we walked in. We turned around and walked out. We fully intended to spend some money in this place, and I guess their staff isn’t interested in making sales. We came back to Deadwood just to do a “tasting” and had some questions and she was not interested in answering them. I guess when you’re from Appalachia & The Smokies… no other moonshine tastings (or manners) are up to par.

The women serving the free samples yesterday was the most rude I have seen in my life. Highly confrontational including responding to simple questions with “I’m not going to repeat myself, I have to do this all day” when my wife asked one time what a sample was. Crazy experience. I’d suggest going to the distillery across the street.

The guy who sold me a $65 bottle either gave me one that was already twisted open or he did it himself after he bagged it. The seal was all twisted and the cork topper snapped off from someone trying to open it. Wasn’t very giftable after that !! Make sure your getting a good bottle before it’s bagged…. And after !!
