We’re a small, quirky cafe and roastery located on the shores of Lake Superior. We opened our doors in 2002 and earned the title First roaster in the UP. We believe in quality and consistency, excellent customer service, and serving everyone who comes in our doors A Damn Good Cup of Coffee. All of our beans are roasted on site or just up the road at our production space, we bake scones in house and source other goodies from other local bakers. Our house made syrups won’t let you go back to that ‘other stuff’. We love what we do, and we want to share our passion with you! Come say hi for a cup or a bag of coffee. We can’t wait to meet you.

The decaf espresso shots were dialed in perfectly. The espresso drinks are coffee forward – even the flavored lattes – my favorite is the plain cortado though which is always espresso centric 🙂

The vibes here could not be better. But I would come here even if the vibe was awful because the espresso/coffee is so damn good. Their espresso machine makes unbelievably good espresso drinks. They also have all their beans available for purchase and any grind. Staff are all tremendous. Cash is preferred. Great place to grab and go or to stay and sip.

Loved this cute little coffee shop! The baristas & roaster were SO lovely- super friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to be working! The coffee came out quick & it was delicious (thanks to the suggestion of the barista) & the homemade oatmeal cream

Oh man I wish this coffee shop was near my area. We stopped by because if it’s local ratings and it didn’t disappoint. Great service, great coffee and a fantastic selection of beans. I hope the ship because I want more but don’t know when I can take the next 5 hour drive.

We just happened to pass by exploring downtown and popped in for a coffee and hot cocoa. My daughter got a hot cocoa and thought it was delightful. She was happy she could drink it almost right away, it was hot but not scolding. I got a cold brew with vanilla and um, wow! I drank the whole thing!!! It was my first time having one and I am sold! My husband got a vanilla mocha and we were a happy family!

I really enjoyed our visit here! This place is so special, definitely the coolest coffee shop I’ve ever been to! Loved the vibe! Happened upon a really fun cribbage game which only added to the ambiance. The smell of fresh roasted coffee beans, music playing lightly in the background and lots of things to look at. I love the sound the coffee roaster makes, would be a great noise to sleep to

As far as the coffee, delicious! I also tried the 906 summer blend tea and loved that as well! This place will always be on my list of places to visit when I go back to Marquette.
