Absolutely LOVED this place! I got the blue crab nachos which was listed as an appetizer but was more than enough for a meal! We also ordered the woof woof wings which were perfect! Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fish and chips was a heaping mound of fish and fries, again delicious! And finally the kids cheese pizza which was “amazing”. The entire restaurant is decorated with picture frames of beloved dogs that have crossed the rainbow bridge. Such a cool vibe to the place. Large restaurant with seating inside and out. They had a band playing the night we were there which was cool. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations for us! The service was great! Drinks were decent priced. They have cool shirts and different merchandise to purchase up front. Would highly recommend this place!

Murrells Inlet is great place for food and drink. Dead Dog Saloon is top notch for their food, service, view and atmosphere. I had the Crab Legs and they were perfect. The fish dinner is also very good. The 3 layer chocolate cake for dessert

We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the outstanding outdoor seating on the water! The cocktails were outstanding!!! We did not like the food. Everyone in our group was not impressed at all with the food. The top food item our table of 13 got was the chef salad. Everything else was just not it. The boneless wings were a huge let down. The pictures on Google and reviews looked like they was gonna be excellent but they wasn’t. Overall service was very good and the atmosphere and on the water dinning was excellent but the food was a huge no. Next time we will come here for drinks and not the food.

My server was Erika, she was so kind and attentive despite the place being packed during happy hour.

Really good food and service! The walls are covered in dogs that have passed over the rainbow bridge, sad but beautiful tribute. Not many veggies options but the server was so sweet and able to accommodate my request to have the meat on the side for others at my table to eat. We also came in at a weird time expecting to get lunch, but breakfast was still being served. It was a fun place to hang and wait, get drinks, and the server was so helpful taking our orders and keeping good communication. Thank you!

Great place to relax, grab some refreshments and take in the scenery. Pleasant staff and both our sandwiches were excellent. When you sit down you get a complimentary basket of the best little hushpuppies you ever had. The honey butter that accompanied them went perfect. Left there with a full belly and a big smile.

cool place celebrating the lives the former dogs. nice waterfront view. service was quick for how crowded it& was. warm inside even w/ air on. poor staff worked hard for the temp inside, fixing OH fans could help some. Now for the food. my daughter loved her Cajun boneless wings, husband’s Cajun Alfredo needed more sauce, & we ordered 3 king crab clusters/boil. corn on cob w/ boil just ok, tator tots nothing exciting ,& crab clusters weren’t very meaty for all the work on this date. love crab but found the legs very small & not filling. the best part of our meal was the nice basket of hush puppies w/ honey butter! they were awesome!

Awesome experience for the first time visit at Dead Dog Saloon. This place has amazing staff and amazing food. I read alot of reviews and agree with everyone on how good this restaurant is. Our server Christian was the best and made sure we had everything we needed. He made several trips to our table and was always asking if we needed anything. I recommend him highly. I ordered the 3 meat platter with pulled pork , pulled chicken and brisket with potato salad and cole slaw. Best taste and so tender and great portion size for the money. My husband had the Crabbier Cakes with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. He loved it and of course I had to sample myself and totally agree with him. Our son ordered the Shrimp and fries and was very happy with his selection as well. He is a very picky eater and he devoured everything. We sat outside so we could see the marsh and it was a really great experience and very little wait time for our food or table as they were busy. If you have never stopped there because they are too busy or not sure please take my advice and stop and eat here because you will not be disappointed. Also they bring you the most amazing hush puppies and honey butter in the world. They are almost like eating a dessert they are that good and tasty. So please to all my followers if you travel to Murrells Inlet please stop by and ask for Christian to be your server if you can but I’m sure they are all just as good. Can’t wait to go back and take my husband for Father’s Day.

Have been coming here ever since it opened. Would definitely recommend this particular establishment to anybody looking for cold beers, great hush puppies, and decent live music performances. The views are great, and when we went last week, it was great from a service, food, and entertainment standpoint. But, if you wish to eat here, get early, because the waits are usually long, as well as parking can fill up. But while you wait, you can most definitely walk on the boardwalk!

Stopped at Murrell’s Inlet and decided to eat at the Dead Dog Saloon. Kids got the crab leg cluster, husband got the Mahi Mahi tacos, and I got the shrimp and grits. We also had the crab cakes for an appetizer and my cocktail was the Gator Piss. Great food. Cocktail was okay, but I would try a different drink next time.
