We had a wonderful meal at the fishery in Pescadero. Everything tasted incredibly fresh — honestly, it doesn’t get much fresher than this. You can really tell the seafood goes straight from the water to the plate. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, and the quality of the food spoke for itself. If you’re anywhere near Pescadero and enjoy seafood, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

This was my first meal on Curaçao and it did not disappoint. I loved the snapper…it was seasoned very well! The view by the water is a nice touch. It’s busy but they move things along efficiently. I would recommend this place.

Probably top 5 shrimp plates I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve traveled to 30+ countries). Doesn’t even need a sauce, although I did add the spicy cocktail sauce. Which wasn’t very spicy (I’ve clearly acclimated to the spice levels in Texas). The shrimp was juicy and well seasoned. While I would’ve preferred the shrimp to be deshelled, it was easy enough to remove (and I’m sure it’s probably more cost effective to keep on). The Funchi fries were pretty much fried polenta. I did feel like it could’ve used an accompanying sauce since it had a milder flavor profile. Thankfully the spicy cocktail sauce (which is not like the traditional American red sauce) worked out well. I’m sure the garlic sauce would’ve also done the trick. Will definitely be back.

Oh and the tamarind juice is so good with a blend of sweet and touch of sour!!

It’s a humble ambience, with excellent food, good prices and cold beer. Be attentive that it closes from Tuesday – Thursday. It was also super good to have dinner at 16:30 (closer to our original time zone).

An extremely popular place as evidenced by the long lineup. It was totally worth the wait. I urge you to go! The food is so fresh and so tasty. The service is efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is fun. It’s situated on the edge of the sea in a beautiful setting. There is a large dining room with lots of tables.

This was definitely one of the better spots in town..
The tuna sells out quick and the line some days is very long ( Friday )others not so much (Saturday ) . The tuna sold out on Friday .
We came back Saturday and enjoyed it. We asked for rare and medium and it was both rare
My friend loved the tuna
I think the shrimp was good but I personally prefer it without the peel.
View is great, you may see some wild life moving around
Food is served quick once you get through the line
The pan bread is like a corn bread pancake hybrid
Dropped two stars because each time we ate here we had awful stomach issues. I think it was the shrimp

Great.
Wait in line, order your choice of dishes and pay.
You’ll get a wooden sign so the servers know where to deliver your order, and you pick a table.
There is a separate bar where you can get drinks.
Food is good, all fresh.
No reservations possible. All tuna was sold out by the time we were there (1400) unfortunately.

What a great time! The seafood was amazing, we had 3 types of fish, 2 baskets of shrimp, fries, and the tomato salad. It’s a popular place, so they ran out of some of the options by the time we arrived at 7pm. The buckets of beer made a great pairing. The tomato salad was so tasty, great choice to add some veggies. Be prepared to get greasy from the butter on the shrimp. Can’t wait to go again.

Wow, this Oceanside spot was a gem…tons of locals come here. We came here for lunch before getting on the plane, and it was a great way to remember Curaçao by. We got there around 12:30 p.m. and waited about 20 mins before placing the order. Don’t be discouraged if you see the line, as it does move swiftly. We got a basket of fried shrimp and rare tuna (you get to pick your own, and it is priced per 100 grams) with some beer to share. The shrimp were lightly fried and very crunchy. The rare tuna was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. Perfect spot for some casual Oceanside dining.
