I sought out places for amazing ceviche and I found it here in spades. I arrived as a solo diner a little after four pm and happily discovered it was the start of happy hour. To say I was thrilled is an understatement. While that menu was tempting I came here to do dueling ceviches. The fire and ice wasn’t available due to no coconuts in house, but the server swiftly made up for it with other recommendations. I enjoyed the Tuna Tiradito which was my first ahi tuna ceviche with pomelo and green papaya. I was obsessed with the freshness of this dish and the playful acidity of the combination still lingers in my mind. And then the server recommended I do the Amarillo ceviche for my second course. I’m glad I listened it had all the best seafood and more from octopus, shrimp, calamari, and more with a tangy passion fruit base. I couldn’t stop eating this! Best part is these are made fresh and within eye sight behind the bar. The passion and love came through in every dish and service made me feel like family. I loved this place and I will be returning often! Do yourself a favor and check it out for some incredible Mexican food and friendly atmosphere. This place gets packed on a weekend, plan accordingly

The seitan burrito was phenomenal. Their salsa verde is picante (so good). Husband had chilaquiles (perfection, he said). Good drinks menu. Great service. Super cute and homey atmosphere. Took one point off because my burrito looked so lonely on that plate!

I have been everywhere across the states, i love mexican food, i travel a lot for work but i am based in nyc.
First time here and to be honest never again, Price is ridiculous even for Astoria comparing to the food quality
Had Carne Asada-stake of 10oz come with rice and beans but istead of beans i asked for lettuce and they gave me some greens that my cow wouldn’t eat,
The first time i am being charged for tortillas…
They really should work on portion size and price as well, totally disappointed!
Barely 2 stars…

Omg I forgot what the dishes and drinks were called..BUT THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!! Ceviche taco? OMG! My taste buds went cRaZy for this. We also had the steak(so excited we didnt take pics of it ‍♂️)with some kind of cheese ontop..ALSO DELICIOUS!. She had a margarita with chocolate instead of salt on the rim..It had some interesting things in it that made it incredible and unique… I apologize for not having the names of everything but for a first time visit we were happily impressed.. Our waiter Oscar was AWESOME!!!! GREAT SERVICE! I cant forget the bartender Eugenio his drinks were AMAZING!! Here’s a fun fact – A BRONX TALE movie was shot next block over.. The social club and the house is down the block…Thank you De Mol restaurant we will be back!!! ..P.s. ASK FOR OSCAR AND HE WILL SURELY MAKE UR DINNER DECISIONS THE BEST THEY CAN BE FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE TIME..

Oscar & Luis were amazing. We did the brunch with drinks & food. The food was family style (we were a group of 6). It was course based and at the end if we wanted to repeat we did but super full by the end and every course was delicious. They asked at the beginning for allergies or if we simply didn’t like something. For the price including tip def will be returning. The options for drinks were also good

Food is great!
Drinks are great! Not too sweet, not too strong just on point.
I do recommend the Chocolate tres leches cake is so yummy! As well as the horchata and chips.
Will come back again. Staff is very friendly ♥️

I loved the atmosphere as soon as I came in, very welcoming with great decor and music. I was very quickly greeted by staff who remained very attentive to every customer during my visit. There was a wide variety in specials but I tried the branzino. Overall a great dish paired with a vibrant side. Awesome happy hour deal as well! The drinks meet a happy medium of generous pour and delectable flavor. The only reason this place didn’t get full 5 star marks was the tres leches cake being dry in some portions, but this is a cevicheria not a bakery. I will most likely be returning!

This has been our go to Mexican for close to a decade because it’s close, but more importantly it’s always good. The ingredients taste fresh and the seasoning isn’t heavy handed so you can appreciate the ingredients. The staff are friendly and we like the look and feel of dining area. We haven’t explored the drinks much because we usually carry-out but the bar looks well stocked and I expect they make a mean margarita because people dining in always have them. I’m glad they made it through the lockdowns. I need the spicy pork tacos in my life.

Update: Did the 2 hour brunch with my wife and a friend and we had a blast. The food was great and the margaritas were delicious and our host was friendly and fun. We were a little disappointed that there are no ceviche options on the brunch menu, but I’m sure it’s because of cost. Would have been nice to have at least one round included, but we weren’t too bothered by it. We still left feeling like we got our money’s worth and will do it again sometime for sure. Presentation of the food was great too.

Came here for a quaint rainy night dinner and loved every bite! The service and ambiance were perfect and the each dish had the perfect flavor palate of charred onion and garlic. The red snapper was a highlight, crispy and had a light broth served along with a side of coconut rice and lime. The fajitas were truly a star though, my partner got the seitan option and it was served with tortilla, seasoned rice, garlicky spinach, tofu sour cream, guac and salsa fresca. Came back with friends a couple weeks after to try other options and they were fantastic! Loved everything we ordered and appreciated how authentic the food was from Puebla!
