De Blasio’s is a nice Italian option in Mount Lebanon. It definitely brings in an older crowd. I would say most of the customers there are above the age of 65. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I think that’s something to note going into your meal.
The portions are very generous. They are large and in charge. However, they do charge a sharing fee. So if you decide to split a meal and go family style, you will be charged five dollars.
I had the chicken Parmesan and it was delicious. The zucchini ribbons are good not great.
The service there is wonderful. The waiters and waitresses know how to charm the older crowd.
Overall, I had a good experience there, but I don’t see myself going back in the near future. Each meal is about $25-$35 apiece and the atmosphere is different. However, I will say that they did an excellent job decorating for the holidays!

First time for lunch on a snowy Sat. Sat in lounge. Breadsticks must have appetizer. Also enjoyed steamers. Pasta with beans, sausage, onion and hot peppers was delicious.

First time ever going. Martin was amazing! I wanted chicken piccata and it wasn’t on the menu I and Martin hooked it up. We had the fried zucchini, wedding soup, and for dessert their signature strawberry shortcake. Portions are huge. It was 10/10 will definitely come again.
Only thing I would suggest is when bringing bread to the table make sure the butter and bread are warm.

This was my uncle’s favorite restaurant, and now I know why. A wonderful, old school Italian spot that the locals know, but don’t like to share because they want to keep this gem to themselves! The fried zucchini was the best I have ever had, and I loved the way they cut it into ribbons. I chose the chicken parm and it was delicious. Large portions, and I am glad that I brought the rest of mine with me – it was even better when I had it for breakfast the next day! The staff had no problem accommodating our vegetarian in the group, and she loved what they made for her.
Be sure and save room for dessert – the limoncello cake was outstanding. I can’t wait to go back and graze the menu – this is definitely one of my new favorites.

Great experience and atmosphere. The stuffed breadsticks with cheese, pepporoni, and fried Zucchini were as good as ever, and the wedding soup is top-notch.
I had the stuffed lobster tails, which is their special every Tuesday. Service was excellent, although short staffed. My daughter had the angel hair spaghetti with a meatball, and my mother had her favorite, which is ravioli. I always recommend the stuffed breadsticks and fried Zucchini
The wedding soup only had one meatball in it, and the stuffed breadsiitcks only had 2 pepperoni in it. Lacking

The food is very good. The fried zucchini is top notch. The veal parm was also very good. My kids has spaghetti and meatballs – the meatballs were humongous and delicious. Their ravioli is a winner!
The restaurant needs updating. It’s pretty dated in there. They had numerous signs informing us they were short staffed and asked us to be patient with our server. When we were seated the host told us this twice. There were so many signs that it lowered my expectation of the place. I kept thinking this was going to be a horrible meal. And I was pleasantly surprised.
Our waiter was excellent even with 3 large party tables. He didn’t miss a beat.
I felt the multiple signs and numerous warning were a bit much. I probably would have enjoyed my meal more if they didn’t keep telling me it wasn’t good to be a good experience.

De blasios is a great resturant experience. The workers are happy to help, and you can tell they care. I loved the chicken and Mozzarella sticks. Personally, the Alfredo was not for me. I found it more watery than creamy.

I’ve been going to this establishment since Don Deblasio took over Piacquadios and back then it was FANTASTIC!
I became a regular customer when Don owned it and changed the name to Deblasios due to continuing the traditions.
Since then, food quality, high prices, and especially owner management will deter me from returning. Way too many restaurants to choose from than to continue with dealing with this restaurant/owner and continually being dissatisfied. Sorry to say this but I will NOT return and ownership may want to revisit Mr. Don Deblasios work ethics and principles to get back on track.

Just ate there tonight and let me tell you! WE WILL BE BACK!! Absolutely delicious and their sauce was like my grandmother used to make and she was from Italy. I had the Pasta Don Diabalo and my wife had the Homemade Manicotti • Both these dishes were top notch winners! The Pasta I had was wonderfully spicy and the pepper flavor with the sauce was too good for words. My wife so enjoyed the delicious and soft like a cloud manicotti stuffed shells. Then we shared a pecan ball with caramel and whipped cream. I had to write a review it was all so very wonderful. Service was excellent as well.
Update 1/25/20 – Ate there again and food was SOOOOO delicious and the service we received from Michelle J was outstanding! We will be back! See pics – I had the Linguine Don Diablo and my wife had the Chicken Parmesan – Just over the top delicious.
Update 11/13/21 – Just ate there again and still loving it so very much. I had the Linguine Diablo and my wife had the Shrimp Scampi – Delicious. Added 2 new pictures.
