This restaurant was exactly what I was looking for – efficient, clean, and hot/delicious food! I ordered the Miso soup and Ginger garden salad to start which was very tasty!!! We got the crab and pork soup dumplings, which were very flavorful and divine! I came with the sauce that gave it a nice touch. For our entrée, we got shrimp lo mein. and sesame chicken. On the menu it stated the shrimp lo mein was $15, although we were charged $16.50. The sesame chicken seemed to be rib meat, and potentially not 100% real chicken? The sauce was very flavorful, and still was very good! We got the hot sake, which was a nice touch to complete our meal. for the sake, the menu stated it was $10, but the waiter than expressed it was $12? I did not appreciate that they automatically charge gratuity, even for a party of two!!!!! they had limited seating, and my spouse, and I had to sit on high top barstools, which was relatively uncomfortable, but the quick wait time made it worth the wait. Prices are not too bad for being in the Time Square area, and would highly recommend to others!

Tip of 18% is automatically added to bill and 3% credit card fee added to total bill

I had the hibachi lunch- shrimp & beef. It was ok. Credit card fees 3% plus gratuities were added to thr bill automatically. I started feeling extremely thirsty after the meal

Stopped in for a quick dinner. The hibachi was delicious and the service was wonderful. We also got the soup dumplings, which we great. The chicken dumplings were just okay and we didn’t really care for the fried udon or the vegetable noodle soup. But overall we liked it.

We’ve went to DD Soup Dumpling twice so far. The first time was spontaneous as we wanted to grab a meal before a show. We’re a family of four (two adults, two school age kids) and ordered an assortment of dumplings and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We decided to go back again specifically for the pork soup dumplings, which were a big hit. Our second time was just as good and they even treated us to a few surprise items since we mentioned that we were celebrating our eight year old’s birthday. It’s such a great spot, I kind of want to keep it a secret but they deserve good recognition. Thanks DD!

Went to this restaurant while in NY and did hibachi. The food was very good. Glad we made reservations because the restaurant was packed and rather loud.

Great Hibachi, got the steak and chicken. Thai tea was a large portion and great. Had some kind of sweet buns that were good. Scallion pancakes were the only thing we didn’t like, just no flavor and dry even with soy sauce. The restaurant was empty when we ate here.

Across from Port Authority and in the Time Square area, this place must be a favorite for tourists. In our opinion everything was way over price.

The way staff was very quick and friendly, no complaints there. We would agree that the soup dumplings were very good.

The seafood was overcooked, and the vegetables didn’t seem to be the best. To us, this place is in desperate need of a dining room makeover. If I find myself in this place, we will never order the house one again.

We don’t intend to go there again.

The soup dumplings weren’t bad, but one was stuck to the liner and tore when I picked it up, so the filling spilled out. And what’s a soup dumpling without the filling? Lol. The Shu Mai was pretty bland. Service was good, but I really didn’t appreciate that they added gratuity to the bill for a party of one. Overall, I wouldn’t come back.

Today I ordered pork soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings. Both were very tasty!
The pork soup dumpling had a soft, thin wrapper with juicy pork and hot broth inside — be careful, it’s hot but so delicious!
The shrimp dumpling had a thicker wrapper with a savory shrimp filling. It was chewy and full of flavor.
