Absolutely loved the food at D&D Chinese Cuisine! Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and cooked to perfection – the shrimp fried rice, chicken with mushrooms, and triple delight were all spot on. Their lunch special is also a steal! I got a generous and tasty chicken with mushrooms, rice, soup, and an egg roll for just $12.99. Highly recommend checking them out!

The food isn’t good and doesn’t look like the pictures posted. The hot and sour soup is a sludge and tastes almost rotten. It was the most unpleasant thing we tried. The chicken was gooey and the noodles were very dry and had little flavor. They also give you about a teaspoon of dipping sauce with certain items, which was strange. The food isn’t cheap and the quality doesn’t align. We chose this place because of the good reviews and were completely misled. The establishment is clean and nice and the staff are also very nice, but that doesn’t make up for the terrible food when that is the entire point of a restaurant.

So I’ll explain my atmosphere rating, first: The restaurant is fairly small with little decor. However, it IS terribly clean, but almost to the point of sterile. It’s not unpleasant, I just enjoy more color and, well, “atmosphere”.
Atmosphere aside, let’s focus on the food. This is my 2nd visit. The first time I came for lunch, I ordered the Mongolian beef, egg roll, and egg drop soup. With a hot tea, my bill was around $15, and I left pretty full. I’m 6’7″ tall and 250 lbs – I eat a lot. Let’s just say I got my money’s worth. The beef was delicious, properly seasoned and extremely tender.
Right now (2nd visit) I am sitting in front of what is the last few bites of my Kung Pao San Yang I will leave feeling the same way as my first experience. This is a dinner, so the price increases slightly to $21. No complaints.
The service… traditional Chinese grace. The plates come out relatively quickly, so no long wait. Serving staff are very pleasant and seem to carry a smile that is genuine – not just because a smile is good for business.
I have to comment on the 1-star review from North Star. While his/her experience was their own and certainly not mine, he/she may have come when the restaurant was trying to work through the new opening glitches…I don’t know. But, I certainly can’t agree on the quality of food North Star complained about.
We have to also realize that when giving a rating on anything, we must compare apples to apples. I cannot fairly judge McDonald’s to the quality of Steak 48 in Beverly Hills. This is a neighborhood restaurant that is new and is, in my opinion, doing an excellent job with, first, their cuisine, secondly, their service, and thirdly, their atmosphere (still could improve in my opinion. But I am here to eat, not hang out.)
I WILL be back very soon and I will tell many more people about D&D Cuisine.

This was my wife and I’s first time. They have been operating for 5 months. The restaurant is very clean, service was very attentive, food was outstanding. Prices are very reasonable for quantity given, glad we only got regular size.
