Breakfast at D’Cracked Egg was an A+ for us! The French Toast plate was DELICIOUS! It was covered in powdered sugar and healthy dollops of whipped cream. I had the grits and my husband had the cheese and hash brown casserole. We also had fresh eggs and crispy bacon. Kandice was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service!

My sister’s and I went here for the first time. Let me tell you there was a women name Ms. Taylor who took the time to assist. Ms. TAYLOR Was very patient and help each person till they was satisfied with what we order. When it was time for the food to arrive, it was hot and the taste was wonderful. When my sister’ and I left Iwas full and I will make the time to come back each time I am in town. If I give more stars I would not just for the food but for the customer service Ms. TAYLOR Showed my sister’s and I. I WILL BE BACK..

Almost Perfect

We came to D’Cracked egg on a Friday around 9:45am for breakfast before a long day working an exhibit hall at a conference. The menu is near perfect. All the hits and no misses with reasonable prices.

The food was really good, flavorful, and high quality. I ordered D’big bird with three eggs, sausage, country ham, hash brown casserole, and a short stack. Eggs were a perfect over medium. The hash brown casserole was cheesy and savory. The meats were salty and full of flavor and the pancakes were really nice and surprisingly many places miss the mark but not here. My coworker got D’country which is biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash brown casserole. You can also get cheese grits casserole too. Other than the gravy being cold it was also a great combo. I think the biscuits were plated first then had to wait on eggs and my meal to be cooked prior to service.

Where d’cracked egg fell flat was service. They were extremely kind and welcoming but they must have been still in the weeds from the breakfast rush because after we were served coffee it took many minutes to get our order taken and then another long wait for food. It was worth the wait and they acknowledged it had been slow. A less patient person might have left.

Give this place a try. I think today’s service was a fluke.

Listen! I spent some time reading the reviews of this place, focusing on the low scores. I had none of that experience! My visit was so pleasant and I cannot wait to go back here when I come back to town for work. The service was fantastic, especially from…Gary?? I think that was his name? One of the most pleasant men I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. You’ll know who I’m talking about when you go! And the food was soooo good! That hash brown casserole is delicious! Plus you get a good amount of food for the money, so no complaints there. And the building was so charming and clean. They’ve really done a great job with all aspects of service. Give them a try!

Place is super cute. D Crap Egg. Service took forever with oonly 2 tables occupied. Coffe is just brown warm water, it’s horrible just don’t get it. Omelets were over salted and super small portion size. The biscuits were like hockey pucks. Had to find waitress to be able to pay for bill. We sat there for 90 minutes for 2 omelets, with 2 other small groups in restaurant. Mixed our orders up, appetizer plate was literal mush. Extremely over priced. 65$? Two coffees, 2 omelets and tator tots? Cmon. Had high hopes due to reviews but I can just save my frustration and make my own food.

Only in town visiting. Came with my nephew and his wife. The service was nice, clearly understaffed, but I work retail, so I get it. The food was really good, I didn’t eat the grits, they were undercooked. Overall, it was nice.
