Loved loved loved this restaurant!!! Tried several different smoked meats, brisket, chicken, ribs, rib ends, as well as their baked beans, fried brussel sprouts, and cole slaw. Absolutely perfect! The place was clean, the service great! Don’t miss this place!

I meannnn the smoked wings?! Just throwing my vote in with 100s of others. They are so bomb. We actually had more wings than this but by the time I realized I should take a picture this was all that was left . They were a nice size too, not those tiny wings places have started selling. The greens were bomb too, it says spicy but they were more sweet to me. Service was friendly with just the right touch points and they had a dj playing the hits too!

Food was absolutely delicious. Wengs are so good. So many great sauces! Slightly up there in price but definitely worth it. We ordered take out but when we walked in it was absolutely on theme. Would love to come back and dine in. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Got offered samples!! The daiquiris are absolutely delicious.

The sauces that came with the meal did not make sense and didn’t taste good. The hush puppies were hard and the collard greens were sweet and vinegary, which was disappointing because they looked like they were cooked well. The ribs were the only thing I really liked — they were cooked well and had good flavor. The wings were over-smoked and too hard. Overall, I would not order from here again.

This was a hidden spot in DC. Excellent barbeque. Good size portions. My friends and I really enjoyed the food and will be back once we come back in May. Wings and ribs was an excellent choice. Ribs melt in your mouth. Brisket was seasoned well and very good. Chilli was a little spicy but tasty. Wings were seasoned good and not over cooked.

I actually got this a couple months ago and forgot to post lol but DCity Smokehouse did not miss with this one. This daiquiri was so bomb! The colors had me hype before I even tasted it, and it was hitting sweet, strong, and just right.
The vibe at the bar was chill, service was fast, and they hooked me up with that big tall bottle to go that made it feel like a whole event Whether you grab it to go or sit and sip you won’t be disappointed!! Definitely one of those drinks I’d come back for again

Normally when I visit a restaurant, my priority is always the food. The experience comes second. But my visit to DC Smokehouse the experience was nice a d felt at home while watching the Winter Olympics.
Marcus did an exceptional job making sure every customer felt welcomed, greeted, and genuinely taken care of. He was attentive, engaging, and intentional about creating a great atmosphere while interacting with guests. That level of service truly stood out. His level of delivery was as if it was his own business.
Especially in the Washington, DC area, where customer service is often not a top priority at many establishments, this meant a lot. Because of that alone, I will absolutely be returning not just for the food, but for the experience.

The barbecue lived up to the hype with the review is spread. The ribs had good smoke and good meat as well. The smoked turkey was great. Those smoked wings are on another planet. There’s some type of chipotle ranch. Make sure you use that. The sides were OK. The barbecue is very good though.

Arrived there following an online review describing the place as one of the best if not the best BBQ in DC.
I was massively hungry and in need of a fix for a brisket crave, therefore I ordered a BBQ sampler platter (brisket + bbq ribs) with fried onions and potato salad as sides.
The plate was massive with the sides being more than already fairly-sized.
I am not a BBQ specialist per se but the brisket was one of the best I have ever had so far with a meat incredibly tasty and juicy. The ribs were more than OK and the sides were incredibly good, with a special mention to the potato salad which was astonishingly flavorful.
Staff was very nice and welcoming and the place making you feel at home, with nice drinks available at the bar as well (even had a perfect old-fashioned as a nightcap).
All in all, to sum things up, whenever you are craving for a really good BBQ when in DC, head over to the DC City Smokehouse. Based on my experience you will not regret it!
