Thank you Erick and your co-worker for a wonderful service. We were looking for a vegan place to eat. We needed to set up a reservation. We called and Erick picked up. When we got there, he received us and made us feel like we were regular clients. We ordered Chick’n Parm with fries and Eggplant Parm with side salad. Even our son who is a picky eater ate the Chicken Parm. I would definitely recommend DC Vegan. On Saturday nights, parking is free (please confirm with them once you park)

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent order was completely unacceptable. When I opened the container, the food looked nothing like what I ordered. Instead of a properly prepared dish, it looked like a pile of scraps thrown together at the last minute. Portions were uneven, and the overall presentation was messy and unappetizing.
The food looked nothing like what was advertised — it literally looked like no effort was put into presentation or accuracy.
For a restaurant that I have visited numerous times over the past 3 years AND most recently ordered out twice in the past week, this was a huge letdown. No customer care and accountability to provide quality food or service.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because customers deserve better than poorly assembled, incorrect meals especially when we pay our money. This is not what I payed and waiting to arrive. There needs to a clear improvement in quality and consistency for the next customer because I will never order here again. Im good. Please reconsider when ordering delivery from this restaurant. Now Im Looking forward to making my own Jackfruit Sandwich.

Delicious food. Three of us went there to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had artichoke sandwich, an eggplant dish, and some mushroom with corn thing. They were all great with sizable portions.

A friend and I decided to drive down from RI to DC to see the Flaming Lips for New Years Eve. My friend is vegan, I am not. I have no problem accommodating my vegan friend so I searched Vegan restaurants when we got to the area and this particular restaurant popped up. We probably got there at about 230 on a Wednesday so I can’t vouch for how it may seem during their “busier” hours (ie Fri, Sat) That being said, the person who took our order was very friendly and offered many suggestions! As a Non-vegan, I have no complaints for the food I ate! Especially the potato skins! My vegan friend was very happy as well! We sampled the vegan cauliflower “wings” in a couple different flavors and I think(as a non vegan) the buffalo flavor was the best!! The “blue cheese” dip was delicious too! We tried their specialty drink too which was delicious! As a picky, non – vegan human, lol,I think this place is fantastic!!! Thank you for your hospitality while we visited your state!!!

Super delicious food!! We explored lots of fancy restaurants in DC but this place the restaurant where we enjoyed the most. All the items in the menu are exquisite and so delicious. Different from other vegan place, the food is very authentic and can feel the care and love. There are also great selections of desserts. We will revisit again very soon!

DC Vegan is a super chill spot that makes plant-based food feel fun and a little bit upscale at the same time. The menu is packed with creative comfort dishes like lasagna, “chicken” Caesar, mushroom calamari, and indulgent desserts, so even non-vegans usually walk away impressed and full. The vibe is cozy and stylish, the staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations, and while prices are on the higher side, it feels worth it for a 100% vegan place that’s great for dates, small groups, or a night out in DC.

DC Vegan is a beautiful spot with a pleasant atmosphere and genuinely good service; the staff is friendly. However, I probably made a mistake ordering the meatless meatball sandwich, which tasted quite bland—almost flavorless, possibly made with a commercial brand rather than house-made. Because of the lack of flavor, I asked for a spicy sauce to add some kick, but I was charged extra for it. The fries were just average, nothing memorable. The bread in the sandwich: super fresh, with excellent texture and flavor, much better than the filling itself.

The food in this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The seating space is comfortable and perfect for a date or a nice meal with friends. They also have a huge variety of pastries and coffee, making it an ideal spot if you’re looking for a great place to work. Previously, I had this restaurant cater a big event I organized, and we got cookies and lasagna that were fantastic. This was my first time eating at the restaurant itself, and I loved everything about it. We came here with a big group and everyone loved the food. Some dishes were so unique and delicious, I’ve never had anything like them before. I give it a solid 10 out of 10.

As someone who’s always been a devoted meat eater and a total veggie newbie, this meal completely blew me away. Every bite was a revelation and a journey of flavors I didn’t think vegetables were capable of. I was also lucky enough to share it with beautiful company, which, paired with the incredible food, it all came together to make this one of the most magical dining experiences I’ve ever had. Dc vegan is consistently going to deliver a great vegan dining experience. I can never grow tired of their selection. I typically love the loaded potato skin, calamari, and focaccia. Yesterday we opted for the loaded fries, chicken cutlet club, and chicken piccata.
The fries had a delicious mayo aioli flavor and were crispy.
The chicken cutlet clan is a new favorite. A delicious breaded Vegan chicken patty with bacon.
The chicken piccata is a long standing favorite with the broccolini.
Our server was kind enough to showcase his mixology skills and came up with refreshing prosecco based cocktails. Wonderful staff, consistently great food.
