Tried the lamb and beef wrap and it was delicious! The meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and I really liked that you can choose from several sauces to customize it. Fresh, filling, and very satisfying, would definitely order it again. Highly recommend!

Great little spot on Capitol Hill next to Frager’s hardware. When you walk in, the place is simple and unassuming. But, the friendly smiles that you are greeted with from the people working there and who are taking your order and preparing your food makes this place truly special. The food is delicious too!! I’ve gotten takeout here a few times now. Always the platter, chicken or combination of chicken and falafel with half rice half salad. Today, I received even more great vibes in the form of a brownie which they gave me with a friendly smile and said “thank you. These are homemade.” These moments of kindness may seem simple but they can really help shift someone’s day.

The beef & lamb shawarma is outstanding. Tasty sauces and delicious savory flavors. Nice staff, fair prices for good quantity, and quick service. Three tables and four stools provide indoor seating for 16. DC Falafel even offers homemade treats like brownies.

We were searching for falafel because I was craving it. This restaurant appeared in our recommendations, and we decided to try it. The food and fries were delicious. The lemonade, as my daughter would describe it, had a hint of limoncello and was delightful. They are vegan-friendly, so if you are craving Mediterranean food, this is a great option.

On a popular block is a tiny shop called DC Falafel that sells falafel, wraps, salads, and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with everything. With all the sauces on it, it was very tasty and fresh. It hit the spot! They sell cold Coca-Cola cans of soda. A clean restroom is in the back and a few tables in the front.

This restaurant has a lot to offer, particularly the top-notch staff and the truly excellent chicken shawarma, which is fantastic with the green hot sauce. The fries are also perfectly crispy. On the downside, the bubble tea was not good and seemed overpriced at $9 with no choice in size. While the overall food and service were excellent, be prepared for a somewhat expensive experience; my bill for three, including a $7 tip, was $92.

This spot is amazing!! The ambiance is relatively unassuming, but they’re absolutely so kind and the food is incredible. They gave us samples of the chicken, beef and lamb, and then we had “pita pocket” sandwiches made with their homemade pitas. I’ve had a lot of gyro in my day — these sandwiches were both unique and delicious. I’d come back any time I’m in the mood for a quick and tasty treat!

A great hole in the wall. I ordered a falafel sandwich which was delicious and authentic with a generous portion. It was reasonably priced and the service was quick and friendly.
