Ive seen this place for many years and never stepped in till today. DBC appears to be your normal New Orleans neighborhood bar that serves food. The food aspect is why they were open during #COVID-19. Anyway I wanted to sde what they served. A picture of the menu is attached. The brisket burger looms good. The sausage was prepared well. Wednesday Steak Night: the cook works miracles with the steaks, making up cheaper cuts with skill and ingredients. The potatoes and green beans are also seasoned well. We try to get there for happy hour- cheap beer, but Cold and Fresh! Sky is an awesome bartender! Great music and vibe as well 5 stars and ❤️❤️

I was brought to this place by my coworker after work after she saw I was having a really stressful day and our trip here made me feel SO much better. The girls working that night were so sweet and attentive and I’ve become a regular since then. Their frozen hot chocolate daquiri is actually the best and I stop by and get it even when I just want something sweet because it’s so good and you can’t taste the alcohol in it at all. I honestly find it hard to believe that there is any because I can always taste it in anything else (I’m a lightweight) and I’ll be so sad when it’s out of season. The food is good too! I wasn’t asked for my ID the first time I went, maybe because my coworker and her girlfriend are also regulars but I have been asked for my ID several times since. One girl in particular was a little rude and asked to see it a second time when I was trying to decide on a flavor because I wasn’t sure if I should try something new or stick to my usual but I understand she was just doing her job and I do look young as well. Overall this place is great and the staff is always nice, I’ve recommended and have brought several people to this place since. They also have punch cards and specials during the week.

Incredible staff. None are lazy and all upbeat, Always! It’s nice to see that they take each Daiquiri machine apart and sanitize them properly. This is a good way to measure the pride of the staff! I have always had a great and pleasant I’m here. Diana always treats me well and does a great job along with all of the other bartenders. Quick drinks and they allow me to put my TV station on when no one is here. It is very comfortable atmosphere with good clientele and great conversation with guest.
