Don’t miss getting your sweet tooth polished off at this delightful but best of all, THEE place to enjoy the best ice cream in the Northeast. You’ll never forget how much fun it is to eat your favorite dessert, my pic, get the black cow. See you there, warm days are around the corner. (I used to dish it out back in 1971, we aimed to serve then, it’s still the best today.)

Ice cream is premium and delicious. I like caramel and had the Sea Salt Caramel Truffle. The caramel ice cream was smooth, tasty and not too sweet. The ‘Truffle’ was chucks of chocolate. Delicious.
The ‘Small’ size in a dish which was a bit more than I wanted – but none went to waist. It was about the size of most places ‘medium’.
The 3 other people in our party all enjoyed their ice cream too.
At popular times, there will be a line. The ice cream is worth the wait.
Tables with chairs are available to sit and enjoy the experience. Nice beach-town atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Day’s for many years and the ice cream is always amazing. Their current flavor of the moment was Lemon Bar, and it was truly one of the best flavors of ice cream I’ve ever had! This review is my plea for them to make Lemon Bar a permanent flavor it was that good, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it!

This is such a great little spot right next to The Starving Artist. I came here after my long beach day to get a nice ice cream cone and I was amazed on how many different flavors they have to choose from. I went with my OG which is just a scoop of chocolate and butter pecan on a cone and it tasted great. Plus, you get a lot for your monies worth.
I really liked the ambiance as it was warm, vibrant and friendly. The prices here are extremely reasonable and they can accommodate people with certain dietary restrictions (i.e., non dairy, non dairy sorbet, low fat and sugar free). They also have sundaes, shakes, banana splits and brownie sundaes. So basically, they have a little something for everyone.
In my opinion, this spot along with The Starving Artist are definitely worth checking out and I will be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Day’s Ice Cream – Ocean Grove, NJ
This place is an absolute gem! The vibe is super nostalgic with its cute porch and old-school charm. The ice cream? Creamy, delicious, and packed with flavor—so many options to choose from! Staff was friendly and the whole experience just screams classic Jersey Shore summer. Be ready for a line on busy days, but it’s totally worth the wait. Definitely a must-visit!

This is the ice cream experience that belongs in Ocean Grove. Amazing selection of flavors and options- beyond the cone or cup. I had a scoop of salted caramel pretzel with a scoop of black raspberry chip. WOW! Then to sit at the many tables and relax? Perfect relaxing moment after a long day at the beach.

This is my all time favorite place to enjoy home made dairy free ice cream! My friends and family love their regular ice cream too. They have a lot of flavors to try. I’m allergic to dairy so this is a really special treat for me to go here a few times a year. I was there yesterday after the street fair and had a cup of oat milk peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream. OMG it was so delicious! They just opened for the season and they close early October I believe. So great on a summer night to grab an ice cream and listen to some music from the great auditorium. They also have beautiful gardens outside on the side with tables and chairs . Give it a try, I’m sure you’ll love their ice cream.

This is one of my favorite ice cream spots anywhere. I moved out of the area a few years ago but will occasionally stop in to get ice cream in the summer. My personal favorite is the trash can, which is a mixture of a whole bunch of toppings into the ice cream. This is right up my alley and it is unique to them. This is a very good place for ice cream.

Came here on a Saturday evening and thought twice when we saw the line but decided to wait it out and we’re happy we did. The line moved relatively quickly and the service inside was efficient.
After sampling a few flavors, I settled on the Graham Cracker ice cream flavor. Definitely on the sweeter side, but unlike anything I’d tried before. Was also happy to see that they had dairy-free and sorbet options.
Would come back!
