My husband eats here regularly but I’m not sure why because there is always an issue. One particular server that always smells like a smokestack (because of cigarettes) has been incredibly rude to him and he won’t interact with her anymore. In fact, he only gets to go food now, mainly due to that one server. The food is wildly inconsistent. While it’s somewhat tasty, that’s not always the case. He gets the same thing every time, so you would think you would know what to expect every time. Today, the gravy was on the bottom of the biscuit (for biscuits & gravy)? Never been served like that before, but he was glad the gravy was there, thought they missed it completely before he looked underneath biscuit. They often get the order wrong, despite knowing what will be ordered. We met working in a restaurant, so we understand the food service industry well and we are consistently flabbergasted by the inconsistency of this establishment, and general lack of give a crap. We have patronized this restaurant through all its reiterations (Centerton Cafe, Sam’s Family Diner) and this last one is, by far, the worst. It hasn’t been good since it was located across from post office.

Just an average Diner! I had the Country Fried Steak with Mash Potato, Potato Salad and their Onion Rings. What I found disappointing is that everything I had was made from scratch except for the Country Fried Steak which was one of those preformed frozen ones. For everything above plus a Coke by bill was 24 without tip. I thought the atmosphere was good and it was quiet for peak hours on a Saturday evening. Not sure if I would stop in again or not but I wouldn’t say no.

This was the first time in a long time to visit Day’s Grill. I’m pretty sure there has been a change of ownership since I was there last. I’m happy to report that I enjoyed my lunch there today. It was Hamburger Steak Thursday. The hamburger steak dinner was reminiscent of a good old country diner, smothered in brown gravy, mushrooms and onions, with mashed potatoes, also covered in the nice brown gravy and green beans. If you’re looking for good comfort food, you might give them a try. The service was excellent. I’ll be going back.

Food was delicious, hesitant to order the steak but ended up being great! Onion rings were crunchy and warm, fries crisped nice. The inside of the restaurant had a nice diner style vibe with cool decorations.

Stopped in for a late morning breakfast, got the usual eggs sausage, Hash Browns, biscuits and gravy. Everything was tasty, service was good. Coffee had been on the burner tooo long,was bitter.

The food was pretty good, my 3 yo ate his entire plate so I would say the food is great. Service was pretty good. I will say the atmosphere is a little bland they could do alot with the inside but we will definitely be back.

Very friendly hostess/server. My wife had the ribs and they were good, reasonably priced, a good value. Being from Iowa, I ordered the pork tenderloin which reminded me of home. When it arrived the pork tenderloin patty was twice as big as the bun, and tasted awesome . Well done!

We ordered to go the other day. Grilled chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Food was excellent! The inside of the restaurant could use some decorations on the walls, pretty sad atmosphere inside.

We went for lunch. Service was really good, food was great. Quiet atmosphere- likely a hidden gem. Reminded me of my grandma’s home cooking. Will definitely be back!
