I love your donuts. But it’s quite difficult to talk to someone who does not understand what I’m saying. I only wanted a biscuit with an egg. On the menu it says the biscuit is $2.25 but they charged me for a sandwich which was $7.95. An egg should not cost $5.70.
I would not pay $7.95 for a toddler sized biscuit.
Look at this bagel sandwich, and seriously tell me that you would pay almost $10.

I ordered their French toast with Berries and a large latte. When placing the order they asked if it was for dinning in or to go, I wanted to eat there. When paying the computer ask you for the tip, with 3 options, 20%, 30% or 40%. The “coffee” was milk with no coffee taste, I had to order a double expresso to add to the milk to really feel the coffee. When the food came out, they serve the french toasts on to go plates. The French toast came out, they were soggy and only had blueberries, not like in the promo pictures. The blueberries felt they were going bad. The service was, after your order, you sit down and they called you once food is ready. I had a Donut and it was good. Would not come back.

The owner give me and my friends a free donut for every A we have per class which motivates us to better so the owner is making a big impact on us and is very kind. I had donuts delivered and I was impressed. The price point was high because of delivery – but so worth it! I ordered early and had a wonderful array of mixed donuts delivered. They were decadent and delicious! I don’t eat donuts often, but the next time I let myself give in to the craving, I know where they’ll be coming from!

Don’t let the name fool you– Daylight Donuts has some of the best pizza in Columbus! Everything is made from scratch and the crust is perfect. Definitely try the maklouba (crust on top and bottom) and add harissa if you like spicy food. My friends from Algeria all say the pizza here tastes just like home. The staff is amazing– keep up the great work! 🙂

I went around 10:15am on a Friday and they were almost completely cleared out and the donuts and bagel I got were not fresh. I’m not sure if they only make them in the morning, but make sure to get there early if you want more options and for them to be fresh. They have plenty of other breakfast options. I was a bit disappointed in the quality. The bagel was just alright and did not come with enough cream cheese in my opinion. Also I was expecting the cream filled donut to be filled all the way through but it wasn’t (see video), still had lots of filling. Places to sit both inside and outside. The entrance is along the side.

This review is for anyone not from this region hoping to get their Daylight Donut fix from an edge of market location. This is not the donut you seek. The yeast glazed donut from this location was only slightly better than a Walmart glazed donut and not a true Daylight Donut style donut. The dough flavor tasted like the brand but the process to create them went wrong somewhere creating a very not-Daylight Donut texture.
This glazed donut almost seemed baked. They had “muffin tops” as if they were cooked in a pan and the dough was extremely dense. The glaze was also off and not shiny nor did it even cover half the donut. It was similar to eating a dinner roll with a little glaze on top.
Was hoping to surprise someone that relocated to this region, but I should have known better. Not worthy of the brand name.

Headed out for a little snack for breakfast this morning at Daylight Donuts and Cafe in Hilliard. I ordered a Chocolate Cream Horn and a Raspberry filled donut. The business has a small area for sitting down and having coffee if you want. On to the donuts, the Chocolate Cream Horn had a nice sort of crispy texture and a good amount of creamy vanilla filling inside. Definitely not skimpy on the chocolate on top. Great tasting and filling. The Raspberry Donut had a very tasty filling inside, no skimping on the filling. A nice glaze on the outside. Definitely need to come back to try more.
