I’ve lived in Tecumseh for years now and today (2-10-26) I decided as I was taking a friend’s son to school, I would stop by for the first time ever at daylight donuts here in Tecumseh since we we’re a little bit early for school anyway, at 7:50 a.m this morning, we went in, the 2 year old I had was looking at the donuts, we literally had maybe been looking for about 7 seconds if that, the lady behind the counter asked us twice what we wanted, I told her he was still looking and then he spotted the pink donut, she asked what I wanted, I said I haven’t even got a chance to look yet, she asked again, (mind you there was no one else in there but a mom and her two kids and they were already sitting at a table,) I felt rushed and just said donut holes, she was rude, no smile, we weren’t greeted when we came in like the one’s I took my son to when he was growing up once in awhile and the one’s we usually go to in Shawnee, I bought 4 bags of donut holes at our usual place in Shawnee and that was 4 dollars and it was delicious but I thought I’d give this one in Tecumseh a try, I had 1 Pink donut and a bag of donut holes, it was 4 dollars, that is ridiculous, it was the worst I have ever eaten, I ate 1 donut hole and the rest went in the trash, all the bags are all open, thick cakey, dry, tasteless, horrible, I will stick with our usual place on Harrison Street in Shawnee Oklahoma and I will NEVER go back to daylight donuts in Tecumseh Oklahoma, Horrible service, Horrible food, plus Horrible price, yeah…NO Thanks

Watch the workers. I seen a lady drop a sausage rollin the ground pick it up and see if anyone seen her through it in the trash after she seen me looking at her then proceeded to putting the rest of the sausage rolls into the bags and placing them into the warmer. I just gave my sausage roll to my dog when I got home. She had gloves on but did not change them after picking up the sausage roll off the floor. Did not wash her hand just kept on working like there is no germs on the floor or in the trash can.
They change almost everything. I loved going here because everything was good and the workers were amazing. Now there food taste like every other donut shop and the prices have gone through the roof. So now I have to pay more for something that is not even as good as it used to be. I only get donuts from here now the rest can go in the trash where they found it.

I grew up in Tecumseh. I have lived many different places and been to donut shops all over, but the food here is the best. Unfortunately, the last several times I have gone thru town they have been closed. Always on days/times they would normally be open. Yesterday, I had a hair appt in the area so I made a point to leave early to be sure and get there well before the closing time which is at noon. Me and my children pulled up at 10 a.m. to see a sign on the door saying they ran out of donuts and were closed. At 10 a.m.! We live about 40 minutes away. Hopefully next time we can catch them when they are open I guess.
****. Updated a year later, adjusted my stars accordingly. This place has really gone down hill. Arrived at 9:25, only thing they have left is biscuits and gravy. I was told no other hot foods. I have been sitting here for a bit though, and now they are selling Cajun pies and sausage rolls for half off? Not sure what’s wrong with them, but not willing to try. I think it is safe to say, the donut shop I remembered is long gone and I should stop wasting my time.
