I visit the area quite often and drive by, but stop until today. The diner was filled with regulars when I walked in and was served by Karl’s wife. Eventually Karl came out from the back and started making my food. We had a great conversation while he made my food and while I dined. I had the Polish Omelette which was fantastic.
This place is a relic of a bygone era. It’s the classic New England diner experience. I felt like a regular even though it was my first visit. Will definitely be back for the Friday night dinner. Even if you’re on a road trip or in the area, definitely stop here for breakfast. It’s only a short drive from the Pike.
Just a heads up it’s cash only and there’s no ATM on site. The Cumby’s down the street has an ATM inside.

It doesn’t get more U.S.A. Americana than this authentic railroad car diner. It is more than just a good place to eat… it’s a good place to hang out & chat. This is a traditional spot for locals, so be sure to bring cash and a positive attitude. Breakfast ranges from $6 to $15

Felt like family. Extremely kind workers. Good food. Really cool environment/vibe. Felt really authentic and unique. Definitely a gem in today’s usual dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

My husband and I found this amazing diner with phenomenal reviews. So he called to place an order. The lady was so nice and thorough over the phone. She took the time to go over the menu. When I picked up the food, I was very impressed with the staff. They were very welcoming and friendly. It was so refreshing to have an employee be so kind! The food was excellent. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you so much for the great 1st experience at your diner today! Well worth the 5 stars.

Classic train car diner. My family and I were treated so warmly and kindly. I highly recommend coming here. Great breakfast dishes, affordable pricing. For a family of 4, it was 42.00. My husband and I both had omelets with English muffins and home fries; my daughter had French toast and home fries and my boy had a double order of bacon. Can’t wait to go back! Nothing better than going somewhere you feel comfortable at.

I asked Carl to cook something that wasn’t on the menu, he assured he would cook anything I wanted, provided he had the ingredients.
Locals coming in and out, calling each others by their names, great atmosphere.
