We had breakfast at Day June during our stay at the nearby Henson. We ordered a classic omelette, a breakfast wrap, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Everything was tasty, especially the pancakes. They were warm and the right about of fluffy. The service was really good too, with the friendly waitress checking up on us frequently.

The food was very good and the staff was very attentive. My husband ordered the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and thin bacon sides and I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with fruit and apple butter. The corned beef hash was the best I’ve ever had; it had real chunks of beef instead of the Hormel “cat food” can most diners serve (which happens to be my husbands favorite). The pancakes were delicious but the apple butter was more like apple sauce sadly. I still appreciated the fresh fruit on top.

It was a great experience overall. Biggest plus was the actual food. It was delicious and perfect portion sizes. There was a wait to be seated but Jay was a great server. We wanted the country fried steak but unfortunately they had ran out. We had the Corned Beef Hash and Cheddarmelt Pancakes . You must try those if you stop by. We also had a pastry that tasted like banana bread meets French pastry . It was warm and delicious.

Spent the weekend in Hensonville and visited the delicious DayJune for breakfast each day. A super cute farm-to-table luncheonette from the chefs behind NYC’s Wildair + Contra. Service was quick / friendly and the dishes were incredible. Highly recommend the corned beef hash, cheddarmelt pancakes and hash browns.

Just what we needed. We popped in a gloomy day and were warmly greeted by Gabrielle.
She explained the menu and listed some great recommendations. We had the eggs, pancakes and the Big Dipper.

I kind of regret coming here and don’t know how I missed all the reviews about the poor service, all of them ring true of what we experienced. Not a warm welcome, one of the girls was very sweet but the other one was on edge/stressed, she was the one who “welcomed us” at the door – she moved aggressively and I know they were busy but it was not the vibe we were hoping for. We sat at the bar cause there were no tables available for 4. Food was ok, but my son’s pancakes were pasty and undercooked. So felt very underwhelmed and it was extremely overpriced. I would not come back.

Super cute place! Got the lemon ricotta pancakes which might be the best pancakes I’ve ever had! They are so fluffy and come covered in a blueberry jam that they make in house with a sprinkle of lemon zest. They feel so special. Prices are also very reasonable. Everything is super high quality, well executed, and the service was great. I recommend getting there early and grabbing the window seat!

My friends and I came here on Sunday, a little before 11am, and was told to wait until the whole party was here. It was very empty inside so I didn’t understand the wait or why they made everyone wait at least 10 minutes before being seated but fine.
They seem to have a strict no outside drink policy because my friend who brought her Yeti cup filled with just hot water for her throat was asked “Would you like for me to hold your cup?” as soon as we were seated— haven’t even offered us water or the menu as this point.
Food was good except it was overall very greasy! My breakfast wrap was grilled with so much oil that my hands so greasy.
Overall, the food is good but I’m not sure the service and experience is worth going back for. It is such a bummer because I was looking forward to this place so much!

A lovely mom & pop feeling diner that serves an amazing tomato bisque soup with GRILLED CHEESE CROUTONS!! My dream! Such a cozy spot to eat all your favorite comfort foods. I would recommend this spot every day!
