Had the BEST time last night at Davidson’s. I was there to see the band playing in their tavern last night…but I was also hungry…I got the Beer Batter Haddock…you get 2 sides …I picked halushki & pierogies…That was the best fish Ive had in quite awhile…and a GREAT beer selection. I definitely want to go back again

table and menu were a bit sticky, and our waitress got a few things on our order wrong, but they were very clearly understaffed and it was the first friday of lent so its understandable. the portions are very generous and the fish is decent, but a bit bland, i imagine beer battered wouldve been better than fried. bathrooms are very clean (and pretty, love the blue and black tile) and staff were very kind. i did notice that when we left it was an hour long wait to be seated, but again, first friday of lent and they were understaffed

I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Pasta is yummy! Soups are all delicious, and don’t get me started on their french fries. Their fish dinners are to die for. I go EVERY Friday! I get fish francaise’ ( I am sure I misspelled that), and the beer battered fried fish. The baked potatoes are so good also (only after 4PM) but worth the wait!! The staff are all wonderful, Mandy is my kitty rescue soul mate. My mom loves it here also and she is REALLY hard to please. I feel safe dining here by myself, all the customers are friendly and welcoming, kinda like being at Cheers! All the staff work together to make sure you are well taken care of. That is something you don’t see much of anymore. I highly recommend Davidsons, I tell all my friends about your place!!!!!!

Ehh it’s ok, chicken wasn’t seasoned. Serving size was not that big for $19 plus a card fee. The sauce is bland, watery. They also didn’t put enough sauce in it so my chicken was dry and a little burnt. There’s no seasoning. Not one ounce. I probably wouldn’t get it again and go to an actual Italian restaurant where the serving size was bigger and cheaper. Not in a little cheap take out container. 2 stars because at least my food was hot and fresh. I got the broccoli chicken fettuccine.

We went for lunch so had to eat in the bar. There are regulars that were there eating and drinking. My husband got the sausage sandwich and I got the club sandwich. They were both delicious. The sausage sandwich had 2 sausage patties. My husband could not finish it. And that is saying a lot. He also got the battered fries. Did not finish those either! My sandwich was very big. There was so very much ham and turkey! I could not bite into the sandwich. I had to take the middle piece of bread out. I got the fair fries. There were so many fries! The waitress was also the bartender. She was moving! She was very attentive and good with all the people in the place. We love Davidson’s and will definitely go back for lunch.

We waited almost 15 minutes to be seated. Very few people in the restaurant at that time. Took almost 20 minutes waiting to order something to drink. Took 35 minutes for food to arrive. Waitress came by only once. People who were there complained but were ignored. Horrible service. No wonder it is up for sale.

Best Sunday breakfast in town! Prices are far lower then the chains Perkins and Denny’s. But the food quality is on par with your chain restaurants. Service is super friendly. Very family friendly place❤️ we go weekly, no extra charge for eggs

I know this restaurant was up for sale. Not sure if it was sold or not. We ordered Coke. The waitress told us they have Pepsi products. The pop was horrible. Another waitress came out. We asked if we could have water instead. She asked why. We told her the Pepsi tasted awful. She said that because its Coke. What??? Then she told us it was a generic brand. I ordered a BLT. It was so over cooked that the bacon crumbled into tiny piece. The ketchup was also generic. The only thing that was good were the fries. My husband and I loved going here, but I can say we won’t be back.

Davidson‘s used to be my go to for chicken français, and it was my absolute favorite. The sauce is still the same but a week ago I could tell the chicken was reheated. Same as another premium restaurant on Belmont Avenue. They started doing the same thing about a year ago. So the price went up to $19 which is understandable but the quality has gone way down. Same friendly staff. But if the chicken isn’t freshly cooked, I will not be back.

Wonderful service and amazing atmosphere. I got the boiled haddock and it was delicious. The dining room is beautifully decorated with old world pictures and wine menus. I love the chandeliers and the music is perfect!! Our waiter, Geo, was excellent with his service and very friendly. I enjoyed my experience emencely and can’t wait to come back!!!
