Rice County & Burleson County, TX 4-H Exchange visited David’s Diner for lunch during Kolacky Days in Montgumery. We called ahead to see if they could handle a large group of us for lunch. Lorraine called her daughters and called us back saying that they could handle our group. Lunch was ordered and prepared in a timely fashion. Lorraine even came out of the kitchen afterwards to talk to every table and see how the food was. Our group loved the friendly atmosphere and the timely service. Highly recommend this place! Be sure to sign the guest book.

This place has the small town charm that is missing in America. No corporate noise, pressure, included tip on the bill. Once you meet the people there, you feel like your home. I wish there were more places like this, no flashy lights, your actually abel to have a conversation with someone and not have to talk over music like TRH or other chain places. I love it and will be a regular there!!!!!

Recently moved to town and one of my favorite go-to’s for a great lunch. Love it all, partial to the mushroom swiss burger with the most awesome cheese curds and a variety of daily soups full of flavor. Plenty of food for the money. A must stop when you’re in town and take time to visit with the owners.

This is a wholesome place with amazing ppl the elderly couple that owns and runs the place are a treasure ..love the small town down to earth feel of the place. I recommend coming here before going to the big name gas station like Casey’s support a small business. And the food is much better !
