It’s always a challenge finding truly kosher food on a roadtrip. BH, we discovered this outdoor café in Tampa after a four drive from Ft. Lauderdale on New Year’s day. The restaurant has a separate entrance from the Chabad House. While waiting for it to open, we spoke to rebbetzin Rivkin for a bit, shluchim there since 1976.
We ate our burgers and fries outside on the wooden patio, in the shade of a giant oak tree. The burgers were homemade patties, fat and delicious. The large chocolate chip cookies from Miami were so so.

Owners were very friendly and warm. Parking is available in the neighborhood. Seating for 8 inside and perhaps 20 outside. We had steak (seasonal item) fries, rice, and a plate of salads and dips. Food was absolutely fantastic.

My all-time favorite kosher restaurant, David’s Deli Glatt Kosher always serves my family delicious and highly nutritious food, in a wholesome atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining. The kabob on pita is the best I have eaten. Rabbi Rivkin dines with my family when he is able. I love it.
