I had been going to David’s bagels in Valley cottage since I was a kid. It’s always been my go to bagel place. But lately I’ve been using their catering services and honestly it has been amazing. I can’t remember the woman’s name, unfortunately, who always assists with this but she is incredible and so accommodating. Guests have continuously commented on the catering as well as how fresh the sandwiches are. Very reasonably priced too and you get a lot!

David’s Bagels is always fantastic. Freshly baked bagels, delicious cream cheese, well-made breakfast sandwiches and good coffee. The staff is very friendly and there is always a wide selection of bagels and breakfast sandwiches to choose from. They also have cooler fridges of brand-name juices and sodas. There are tables for seating but many people choose take-out. The line out the door on most Sundays proves how much this store is loved by the surrounding area. I highly recommend.

I have been supporting this business since it first opened and always loved the quality of the bagels and service. Today, I ordered a turkey and muenster on a honey sesame bagel at the Valley Cottage shop. It was not busy…no line The blond haired woman who prepared my order brought it on a plate, and I wanted take out. I come here a few times a month and was never asked if I wanted to eat in… it was always for take out. That was the first issue… no big deal. The sandwich was wrapped and when it came time to pay I noticed that the sandwich was muenster cheese only and no turkey. The woman went back to correct the mistake but scowled at me when I told her for the second time I did not want it toasted. Anyone can have a bad day but to be scowled at with no apology at check out is not a good customer experience. I will continue to support this business but will avoid this provider. I hope that the manager of this shop will take note of this

Long line out the door and I’m not sure why. A fresh bagel shouldn’t be toasted into oblivion (it was). The cream cheese seemed curdled with the texture. Then i got a dozen bagels to freeze for home. Thought they’d be different with my preference of better cream cheese and lighter toasting. Nope. I just don’t think there is any flavor. Theyre not fluffy inside and crispy outside. Pass.
