I’ve been patronizing Davido’s for over 10 years and for the past few years the service has been horrible.
I ordered a pineapple and chicken pizza tonight and immediately could tell something was wrong. I tasted a slice and it smelled funny but thought I was overthinking so I started eating another slice and immediately spit it out because it tasted and smelled like liquor. I took all of the pineapples off of the pizza and smelled them and because they all looked mushy and smelled strange I went online and upon my research discovered they are fermented and have gone bad and that’s where the horrible smell and taste are from.
I am hoping I don’t get food poisoning or suffer a stomachache tonight after eating the few that I did eat. I’ve attached a photo of the remnants after I spit up the slice and also the pizza after pulling the fermented, bad pineapples off.
I’ve spent upwards of $1,000 at this restaurant over the years and have been so displeased with my orders both through DoorDash and in person, I refuse to continue to support a black owned restaurant that clearly doesn’t care about the kind of service or the quality of food they are feeding into the community.

I received raw food that literally made me nauseous. I went back up to the store and had to wait almost 30min for a manager to come. Once she got there she argues with me telling me that what I was saying wasn’t true. (She didn’t even bother to look at the pizza I brought back up there) She was completely rude and no apology. At the end after 15 mins of back and forth she said she would give a refund. I would not recommend going here at all and I’ve even considered legal action.

I am highly disappointed and almost feel disrespected. The amount of little to no meat on my Philly is ridiculous. This is half of the sandwich and there is barely anything in there. I have been coming to Davidos Lithonia for over 3 years. Lately it has been really inconsistent. The meat also taste like cheap steak ems u get at Walmart and not the normal meat they use. I bought 2 phillys and 6 wings, I had to take the meat from half of the Philly to put it on the other side. Don’t get me wrong the lemon pepper wet wings were delicious. Would love to get in contact w management but when you call no one answers.. idk if I’ll be back anymore. Literally still hungry from a paper thin supposed to be Philly sandwich.

This was a first visit and glad I checked it out. The pizza ingredients were great and the lemon pepper wings made my mouth pucker. They were just right. Definitely will visit again when in town.

daVidos Pizza & Wings has been around so long (20+yrs), and is a community staple. Most of the employees are young teens. DaVidos has been employing the youth since the early 90s. Not to forget their award winning Pizza & Wings. The food is amazing. There are so many options for lunch and dinner. It’s a yes for me, everytime. Small Black owned business like daVidos are very important to have in our community.

I ordered a 6 in. philly that came out to $7.99 for the sandwich by it self plus an extra $1.50 for bell peppers and onions which is suppose to come on the sandwich, then add tax. My complaint isn’t the price but the size of the philly for this price. The bun was literally the same size as a hot dog bun. I was working from home so my sister went to pick it up for me because I couldn’t leave. I called the restaurant more than 2 times and could not get anyone to answer. I’ve visited the location on Flat shoals Pkwy. and this location many times and never have I ever been given this bread, this small and if I had, I would’ve never returned. Never again will I spend $11 for something like this.
