I came in because I had yet to find a pulled pork that hit the spot. I got the sandwich with a bag of chips. The sandwich and the bbq sauce reminded me of my favorite place back home. This place is a mom and pop spot with some of the best pulled pork I’ve had since moving to Houston. The people here were very friendly. I also browsed the meat market after dinner and I know where I’m getting my next steak from. Beef is so pricey these days and the quality of this place is top notch. Thats the only thing I’ll spend beef money on. This is going under the “places to eat” tag in goggle maps, along with only four other places here, because I have to try the rest of the menu.

OMG! This place is s solid 5! It’s small, tucked away off the beaten path, but this is a MUST do for dinner. They close at 7, so go early! You will not be disappointed. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the amount and quality of food you get! The meat was cooked to perfection… probably the best steaks we have had in a long time! Brisket and turkey were fall-apart tender! The sides were delish… total comfort food!

Stumbled across this restaurant and I loved. Had a brisket and 2 sides and tater tots. Great price, delicious food. I really loved the atmosphere and how it was decorated. I saw they sell spices and fresh cuts of meat. Next time, I’ll pick some to try at home. One issue is the parking. It’s a bit tight, and if I hadn’t gotten lucky to find someone leaving the parking lot, I would have missed it.

The food is good, and they don’t seem to care if you have to eat with your hands. That includes mashed potatoes and gravy. If you order takeout, don’t assume they’ll include anything you need to actually eat the meal. Hopefully the five cents they saved is worth losing customers for good.

This review is for the owner or managers of the Store. I have seen a marked decline in the portions specifically chicken fried steaks because that’s what I primarily eat at this wonderful store. Over the course of the last year however, the portion size have shrunk and today on 1/10/2026, The chicken fried steak struggled to be a half inch thick and rather than be the full portion that existed before they were about the size of a piece of bread. I understand the cost of food is going up dramatically, but I personally would rather pay more money for the meal and retain the quality than to shrink the size of the meal and sacrifice the quality. I love the taste of the food but again today the tater tots I ordered were cooked down to next nothing completely fried my bread was burnt. I’m not bitching and complaining because I really do love this place and hope that they recover.

The $26.99 ribeye is juicy, tender, and delicious. Like a steak is supposed to be. It comes with a loaded baked potato or two sides. Strangely, sauteed mushrooms are not offered.
The steak butter is fantastic, with an appropriate amount of garlic that complements the beauty of the steak without overwhelming it.
I did not expect Seabrook to have a great anything, but they have a great steak at Dave’s. Too great to get a picture of an unmolested steak.

We have been to Dave’s twice now, everyone was so nice and all the food was amazing! We got chopped brisket baked potatoes and chicken fried steak sandwich. You can definitely tell its real smoked barbeque, it is so good! And the chicken fried steak was so crispy and good! Dave’s smokehouse is connected to a big meat market, with so many different meats to buy, and everything looked very fresh and delicious, We Can’t wait to come back!!!

Amazing little tucked away bbq joint in the Bay Area. I was nearby for work and decided to pop in and was blown away with how amazing the food was. I ordered the brisket plate with a potato salad and baked beans side. The toast it came with melted in my mouth and the brisket itself was out of this world.
If you’re up for dessert, I highly recommend their carrot cake as well. It was excellent.
Stop by if you’re close or make the drive if you’re not because you definitely won’t regret it!

Tip of the day! English cucumbers are just better!
Definitely not a dessert place. For $5 it better be good for a small portion. Sadly it’s not. Belly sauce with crust and one peach. You call that a cobbler? Like 5 oz of crust in cinnamon jelly
